How stable are they on the street, do they wander/sway?I went with Mickey Thompson ET Street R 305/45 17s
I do have some issues with the balance, but nothing that i can attribute to being wandering or sway. I also have Nitto 555R2s 305/35/19 on my stock rims, i did have some weirdness that felt like swaying while above 50mph, but lowering tire pressure to 30-32psi made that pretty much go away. How stable are they on the street, do they wander/sway?
Torn between
1. 305/45/17 M/H ET SS
2. 275/50/17 M&H
Appreciate the prompt responseI do have some issues with the balance, but nothing that i can attribute to being wandering or sway. I guess my answer for the ET Street Rs is that I don't know yet because this balance issue is preventing me from identifying if there are any other issues when at speed.
I can tell you without a doubt that they hook. My car is above 700whp and they hook really well on the ET Street R
M&H makes a great tire too, that's a hard choice, but ultimately is up to you and your goal for the car.
Sounds really goodHKS Super Turbo Exhaust sound with BoostLogic downpipe, thoughts?
Is it much louder than stock? It was built to be as quiet as stock but with bigger piping for performance.HKS Super Turbo Exhaust sound with BoostLogic downpipe, thoughts?
I love doing road trips in my supra. Getting ready to leave Saturday for a 2k mile road trip down the west coast line. It will put me over 5k by the end of next week but I don't have an a91.Drove it from NYC to LA.
I was impressed how well suited the car was to touring. It loves cruising down the highway at high speeds, and is stable/comfy at some autobahny levels. Looking fast was helpful too, since people see you come up in rear view and move over with time to spare (NM, TX, AR) unless it's one of the states with selfish drivers (looking at you Northeast and CA).
Of course it starts with rain and traffic:

White Sands NM was really cool. Supras on the moon! In unrelated news... drifting is fun.

Car has 5k miles now, highest mileage a91 perhaps? ppf and ceramic got a work out. only a couple bad chips though. Nothing a detailing in CA couldn't clean up nicely.
