New steering wheel, supplied by OHC Motors.

Makes a huge difference to the driving experience imo, compared to the OEM piece of shit that comes with the car!

Looks great, love it. So tempting... but I am kind of afraid of the install process. Did the middle lower textured part come with it or is that some other piece?

~ The biggest pain to me was… getting the old double sided tape/adhesive off before installing the new ones. Required so the replacements one lay flush.

Yeah that was absolutely the worst. The heat gun helped though and then I peeled and scraped the rest with a flathead and cleaned with alcohol so it was a good seal. Warming the new adhesive also ensures a strong bond.

IND has a great product though! Glad I got them

I had to use my horn today... comical to say the least...
~ a complete embarrassment. ?

I would love to add the necessary second bmw horn but worry about pulling the front bumper and hoping all gaps are aligned perfectly again.

agreed, not worth it to me to tear apart a brand new car and hope it all lines up perfectly when I put it back together for the horn I use twice a year lol

I hit my panic button by accident the other day which uses the horn and I wanted to throw the whole car away

I installed my steering wheel and got my turbo (6870) in. Fingers crossed, the car is up and running on this new setup by the end of the weekend.

Also, I finally got around to putting up storage racks in my garage while it’s somewhat empty. Next I want to have the floors epoxied. There’s not enough time in a day lol

I wonder if there is a difference in US spec vs EU spec since I don´t find the horn that pathetic, but then again I have only used it once or twice.

Not today, but about a week ago I had RSR Sports-i coilovers installed along with an alignment and corner balance. Massive improvement over the Swift springs and stock dampers.
