Been there done that with the lip I had on my STi. It ended up being a complete nightmare and a lesson learned. This is the reason I am so hesitant to install a splitter on my car.

I have an AA catted downpipe now on MHD STAGE 2 on 93, if I go catless will it really pick up any power with just the same ots stage 2 tune???

of course you will. catless are cheaper than catted, so you can actually sell the AA DP and have money left over

I did end up getting custom red seatbelts but I got mine from an Instagram vendor called WestCoastWebbings. Check them out if you’re interested. Very high quality work. But you do have to send them your seatbelts first.

As for error codes, I did get an error because I had to start the car and move it after I removed the factory seatbelts so I could send them to WestCoastWebbings. Obviously the car recognized there were no seatbelts so it tripped the code. Theoretically if you disconnect the battery and not reconnect it until after installing the new one then you shouldn’t get an error code. If you do get a code, you just need someone to clear it and you’re good.

Installed the CG DS-1 DP today and flashed MHD Stage 2 93 OTS. Can’t wait for the MHD flex fuel. The car rips. Love it.
The DP install was a lot easier than I anticipated. Took about an hour.

Put 590 miles on her driving from home to Minneapolis and back for a friend's wedding. The CU Later gets about 30% the attention my old Nitro Yellow did, but I still saw people taking pictures on the interstate, and some strangers in a modded Civic Si and SAAB 95 Aero peer-pressured me into demonstrations of how much harder she pulls than them. The SAAB guy made my day when he dropped his windows to take in the sound as I left him in the dust ?

I also had the conscious realization about halfway home, that I am truly in love with this car, which I named Sasha, because if you know, you know ?

Like Fuzzy, I put a few miles on the car. Drove about 300 miles from my house to Watkins Glen NY. I was reminded why I84 is one of the worst highways in the country, but rewarded with one of the most beautiful and picturesque drives I've ever done in the Northeast.

I drove with a gorgeous 370Z Nismo and a beautifully done Golf R that were together for over 100 miles, we were all snapping pictures of each other. Saw a badass G80 M3 CS that was yellow and black and had a ton of aero on it.

I'm doing an HPDE on Monday and Tuesday. I'll post pictures and a review of the track and the region later this week!

Getting ready to head to cars and coffee it's been awhile since I've had it out.

Finally got the chassis codes on my car cleared. Turns out it had nothing to do with the steering angle sensor as originally thought, but rather the parts that were replaced, namely the headlight, were never programmed to the ECU, and the error codes I had were red herrings.

Also found out from both Toyota of Seattle and Toyota of Kirkland that the body shop that did the work straight up lied that Toyota of Kirkland had the car for fixing the codes in the first place since there was no record of my car being in the system.

But on the plus side: my car is finally fully healthy again, and I'm hoping to get in a track day before it's too cold.

I drove my Supra today and passed 4000 miles on the odo.
(mine was bought new in April 2020).

3 more drives and she goes into hibernation mid-September.
