Bloke what torque setting did you use for the stud into the rotor ? Red or Blue locktight? sorry mine have no refence material in the packet.

Cheers
I don't recall off top. I used red loctite. The torque setting is listed on the Vargas website for thier studs, thats the brand I used. Hope that helps.

Love it, I had a classic any time I posted a pic of anything, if my Mustang was in the background that’s all people commented on, lol…

Most people appreciate classics (are they old enough to be antiques now?). It's natural for us to have a reaction. The '69 Charger and Fastback Mustangs have always been my faves.

I would imagine if its used they should let you. But if you are serious about getting one, get one off Turo Like @BA9092 suggested.
Test drove one at CarMax today! This thing is a rocket and super nimble. Also surprised at how good it sounds stock in sport mode. The attention it gets will mandate tints ? even though I'm looking for a white or black one.

I’d have such PTSD until that thing turned over and purred with no issues. ??
Lol. this ain't my first rodeo, we have the engines out of these fuckers all the time.

We can put a car on the lift, get the engine out, and stripped down to bare block in 3 hours.

Here's one.

That one was at the old carmax i used to work at in Wayne. It got transferred to Edison. That car was completely resprayed over 5-6k of body work because the carmax that had it previously repainted it the wrong yellow and there was overspray everywhere. Carmax sells pretty low quality cars at ridiculous prices. Great for getting a no haggle test drive tho ?

I had this when I got my first Supra. Dealer I got several cars from before refused a test drive so I went a few miles north, tested, and then purchased.
I got $7k off msrp so getting no test drive was just part of the tradeoff. They didn't have any on turo either since the car was so new at the time. Still to this day....

Sweet…glad we have guys like you! I, on the other hand, would still have PTSD. I’ve rebuilt several old Mustang V8s and straight 6s, and I’ve done all the work on my Supra except the tune (turbo, exhaust, DP, springs, etc.) but would need some serious sedatives for a full engine removal/tear down. ?‍?

I'm glad you were able to test first! Looking around for someone willing is definitely the better option
