Our roads here are pretty epic in that sense. So are our tracks. Pristine condition. The downside is that we don't have as many nice winding roads as some other places. There are couple of nice mountain passes nearby thoughJealous of all that tire sidewall. Pot holes are brutal around here.

Clean install. I know running the wires to the hatch was a pain. I got my cam to record up to 1 hour by motion detection after turning engine off to conserve battery. May get an external battery for it some day.Over the weekend, I decided to finally install a dashcam in my car. I've owned it since 2022 and went with the BlackVue DR970X-2CH LTE Plus. The installer did a great job hiding all the wires. Living in Los Angeles, where hit-and-runs and uninsured drivers are way too common, having a dashcam just makes sense for peace of mind and protection.

So when I contacted the guy who was going to install the camera, I sent him the video below so he could see the camera I wanted and the kind of clean installation I was looking for:Hardwired? and where'd you go to get installed? I won 50% off Type S stuff at the Larry Chen meet, so I'm gonna get a dash cam. I've had my last 3 cars totaled by terrible drivers smh.
First mod I do on all cars is to install dash cam. installed on Supra within 72 hours of ownership. Front really isn’t hard, would take me under 30 minutes to do it again. The rear is longer only because you want to run the wires inside the rubber boot of the hatch. Took me a good 30 minutes to run wires from boot to 3rd brake light. about 2 hours total front/rear. Having pry bar helps a lot To pop panels out. There’s a detail installation video here I watched that helped.Hardwired? and where'd you go to get installed? ~ I understand your reasoning for having a dash cam but … personally I’m not sure I could tolerate seeing that in my rear view mirror on a regular basis. ?Over the weekend, I decided to finally install a dashcam in my car. That was the exact reason I didn’t install the rear one. The blend mounts for radar detectors are another one. They look like you have a split window windshield.~ I understand your reasoning for having a dash cam but … personally I’m not sure I could tolerate seeing that in my rear view mirror on a regular basis. ?

My buddy is going to the F1 race this weekend & island hopping to different places/countries. His wife sent my wife cool pics of the hotel & other sights. Meanwhile my friend sends me pics of…. tires ofc. Which I thought was for gas savings. However he said the driver told him they were for sand dunes. Wonder how our Supras would do? I remember reviews were pretty negative in the snow (back when people were still bent out of shape with her having BMW DNA ?), but no one ever mentioned/critiqued how she’d do in sand dunes! Mighty fine tire brand I might add ?

I've got another track day or two left on the OEM's and then I think I'm going to go with the ECS02.For a quick minute I thought that ?was some kinda stone cold marble wrap….
Anything affordable in those top two categories ?

Unfortunately I really need to use up what I‘ve got. It’d be fun to take the OEM ones to the track and drive the snot outta them until nothing is left. Then have one of the tire companies put on one those above on trackside. Sure would beat waiting for tire rot to set in, driving only 5k miles per year in town. That way it wouldn’t be so obvious I bought another set of tires. Hummmmmmmm…. you got me thinking Geroge ? ? ?

Dat’s da way (uh huh uh huh, we likes it, uh huh uh huh…) Beautiful car ? Just need to get you some numbers Marlon. Track Decals have really good quality ones you can reuse but… they take about a track season to send them to you after you order ?
