That part looks easy. What are the hardest parts?
There wasn’t anything really I would say is hard. Get a good pair of snap ring pliers unlike the pair I was using. Other than that everything comes apart and goes back pretty easily.

Picked up a ‘cheap’ 5” kitty cat free downpipe and swapped from the catted AA DP.
I get it….the turbo sounds and the exhaust note is bonkers. Love it. But man it smells real bad heh. Probably swap back at some point...yes you can make fun of me for being a wuss :)

Can’t tell if there is more power on MHD stage 2, probably shows how well the catted AA DP flows?
Smells better at least if you run an ethanol blend (E30+)

If you already are... don't go straight 93, ever.

In Australia, there is no such thing as paying for air and water. Ever. Also, we pay for petrol AFTER we have filled up, although more recently some servos do make you pre-pay after 9pm.
It’d be nice to see true “gas” stations - but they’ve got to sell everything else or it wouldn’t make sense (cents). Any margin over cost on gas is typically all tax. So some offer an air machine that’s coin operated. Long are the dayz of Gomer coming out and filling up your car and washing the windshield for ya.

We just got back from vacation, rented another Mazda (CX-50 hybrid) and ate at many gas stations along the way. Gas was relatively cheap and the food is actually decent 😜
*Like every Mazda I’ve driven recently - they are fantastic for road feel and driving characteristics. But that dadgum hybrid engine was so underwhelming. Anyone considering one, stick to the regular ole ICE version - the hybrid saved on gas but lacked everywhere else).

Hahah. True. Society is crumbling around us. Australia is just a few years behind, don't worry.
Depends on where you go. We stopped in Greenville SC and talk about a clean nice city! It’s right next to the BMW M training facility & plant. The rest of the Blue Ridge Mountians were absolutely gorgeous & dynoMight 🇺🇸 ♥

I actually went the other way, with the exhaust at least. Took ur advice and got the AWE track to touring conversion kit. Will let you know the difference. I can’t wait to get that mofo slapped on 🙉

Flushed the Brake lines. Track weekend coming soon!
Well dun (track prep and paying off the ride)! We paid ours off after the 6 month promo offered by the dealer. As far as track, I’m hoping to get back in Nov… Can’t wait to see what your IAT differences are when comparing similar summer swamp heat.

1.5 days of crushed and cut fingers, I ended up recruiting my wife to place a couple of bolts (her tiny hands fit in small spaces)… but I finally did it. And added the Charge pipe that had been on a box for 4 months.

@razorlab was right. Vacuum bleeding the low temp coolant system is easy.

I had the car do its own coolant bleeding after.

Pro tip for others going about this. Taking the cowl and firewall brace off when doing this creates a TON more room for activities.
