What did you do to your Supra today?

Ran NASA Buttonwillow (CW #1) over the weekend. Unfortunately had some clutch slippage issues so I decided to continue the day and allow the clutch to die a honorable slow death. Even though I was only able to half throttle fourth gear, I was still able to get some meaningful testing done on the new brake and aero setup. Pretty big group, a lot of traffic. Clip below of the last half of my last session chasing a few cars down with one clean lap after passing the Supra.

Went racing and did ok like normal. Beat my PB at this track by almost 2 seconds this time on garbage tires. Also got bumped into the unlimited class…..

Nice! What did you end up running? I didn't run Sunday, waiting on coilovers to get the 18x11's to fit. Stopped out there to watch a friend run and there were some wild cars running.

I got down to a 1:54.8. And ya Saturday had some crazy cars too.

Replaced my check valve for the evap system (one that sits on top of the intake mani). I narrowed down an extra loud clicking to that part but didn't have any codes. Recently though after fueling up a few times the car had a weird start/ rough idle and take off. A 50$ fix isn't too bad at least

Got that "Texas Edition" Wagner manifold installed.... MCS suspension going on soon. Can't say I'm a big fan of a Texas state logo sitting on the top of my engine bay. Truck nuts on the Supra incoming.

Yea, I'm not a fan of that new top. I am glad I got the last version. Also looks like the welds moved more into bubblegum territory with the new revision as well.

Be careful. Sharpie is gloss and can have a bit of a purple tint. (I have used sharpies in the past to cover up curbed black wheels)
