Not able to do a little video at the moment, however, after you choose the tire pressures from the menu push the iDrive knob to the left. From there just highlight the screen you want to program and choose/hold the button down. For CarPlay I would assume just highlight it on the home screen without selecting it and do the programming.
~ when you get a moment… please create a quick video. I’d certainly appreciate it.

So CarPlay doesn’t program on the home screen like I thought it might. (I may be the only person who thinks it’s pointless so I don’t use it.) But I did find where you can program it in the media menu.

The car only lets you program things you can navigate to in the menu, if its something you interact with after pressing a button like sport it doesn't work. So you can bind the "configure sport individual" if you go to the menu, but if you click your sport button, scroll down, you can't bind that one, even though its the same menu (visually, maybe the actual software behind it is different)

I have several Sirius stations and equalizer. I switch to equalizer in case a song has strong base and things start to vibrate.

I have my phone mount blocking a bunch of the buttons, but I still use a few:

1: CarPlay Music
2: CarPlay Nav
3-4: unused right now
5-7: hard to reach due to phone mount
8: Configure Sport Individual menu
