Here’s pretty much what I was thinking of getting.

I already bought some Meguiars interior cleaner and some extra regular microfibers. To vacuum the inside I was just gonna use my vacuum cleaner with the attachments it comes with. I’m still unsure what pressure washer to get. I was thinking about this one maybe? https://a.co/d/bbpJVkt The only thing I’m gonna use it for is just car washes. Nothing else really.

but yea, overall is there anything different I should get? Any recommendations, or anything I should add to my list?

I don't have any of that equipment exactly, but I will speak highly of having a cone-shaped brush for wheels like you have pictured. No matter what any wheel cleaner spray says, you simply cannot get brake dust and other grime off just a spray-on cleaner. A medium stiffness brush like that blue Chemical Guys brush is good for tires and the cone-shaped brush gets in all the nooks and crannies of the wheels. Depending on your level of detail, using a wet microfiber to get the stuff the cone brush leaves behind is not a bad idea.

Also consider a ceramic coating spray as well, something like McKees Spray/rinse Ceramic. It's not as good as a real ceramic coating, but it does help with making the wheels easier to clean.

I use a bunch of the chemical guys stuff with good results. For my wheels, since they are flat matte, I used a special matte wheel cleaner and only a hand cloth. I used Dr. Beasley cleanser and seal. For actual car, I use a spray washer, then finish it up with chemical guys no water wash or no water ceramic to spot treat/dry after. Yes, I use this after I use water to get off any remaining residue and without much effort. Water just beads off and I don't really have to do any deep washes. Because it's been treated with a diy ceramic wax day one, I have minimal upkeep and it's just maintenance. My towels are the Rag Company, and have worked the best imo. I've tried soo many I can't even count. The Chemical Guys brand is terrible and have shed, even 20 washes later. I only use those for other things. The Rag Company has never shed and offer "scratch free" fiber blends. I also, only use rags to spot treat or apply a ceramic spray. I try to minimize contact with the paint as much as I can. When I wash, it is typically spot free with no drying needed. Hope any of this helps haha ?

thanks for the response! Yea I’ll pick up a set of those towels as well. I’ve just seen a bunch of people recommending one of those wash “mitt” thingys. The towels ya linked seem pretty good and high quality.

Oh and my dealer said they added a ceramic coating. But honestly it doesn’t seem like they did a good job lol. Car came kinda dirty since I got it shipped from out of state, and I didn’t notice much water beading. Not really sure if they did it at all lol.

I ended up getting an adam's pressure washer. Seemed good and so far the reviews and in my experience it has been great. Cost was a bit higher than most other typical ones but this one is SUPPOSED to last a bit longer than the others. I went with the upgrade kit to get the snub nose gun and longer hose. I have 0 complaints and I've had it about a year so far.

I saw someone else mention and also use the same thing for my soap, I use dr beasley's matte car wash stuff but haven't really used that yet. I got some of this and have been using this to wash it without issue and works great.

Also forgot to mention I have some mcguire's microfiber cloths for washing and then also have some rag co mits as well. Just actually grabbed some rag co glass towels as well

You should look into the AstroAI foam cannon from amazon instead. It's cheaper and foams way better, I have both and the amazon basics one became my general degreaser dispenser.

For chemicals I usually go for Carpro and P&S. I do really like the CG foaming soap though.

My Paint microfiber towels are from the rag company. Place one big order from their site and it's a little cheaper than amazon. They have a sale going on for labor day.

for anything that isn't paint or screens I use the Kirkland pack from Costco.

For buckets you can get 5gal buckets from Lowes/HD/Menards for $5 unless you really want the CG style.

The rabbit hole for car detailing can get VERY deep if you let it lol

Hope this helps!

I've been using the meguiars rinseless car wash.

One you're using seems Interesting. May have a go at it.

So you use only the Optimum No rinse wash and wax for your wheels/tires too? I was looking up videos on this and it does seem enticing, not gonna lie. I've seen people using a sponge in most videos that I saw about this product, not sure if thats the "recommended" way to use it or if it doesn't matter?

I've been using the 2 bucket wash with ONR and a microfiber mitt for the last 8 years. I really like it. Especially since I can wash my car in the garage which is awesome since it's either 105F or 35F here in Dallas.

I just use Griot's Speedshine after a drive or two.

I only drive on dry days so if I drive over puddles, I use their SprayOn CarWash which is their waterless car wash. No swirls, no scratches.. I just use liberal amounts of the product and a bunch of clean plush MF towels. My car is black.
