Wheel suggestions: Stock suspension, criteria noted

Morning fellas,

I am looking for a set of 19x9.5/10, 19x10.5/11 wheels for my car. Pending a tune I know I’d rather log with more grip than stock and I’d like to go ahead and move on this first. I’ll be running PS4S 275/35 and either a 295/35 or 305 rear (I’ll explain the dilemma). Primarily a fun weekend car with some track and a lot of hard mountain driving. Goals are lighter or at most the same weight as factory wheel/tire combo, function over form with a preference of non-crazy colors. Silver, gray, maybe black

First questions:

Am I going to have any issues running a 275 width in the front with zero alteration?

• If you were putting a 275 front on, would you prefer a 9.5 or 10” wheel and why?
• Any objective feedback on understeer mitigation going up from the 255 stock front? (‘21 MY)
  
  Will I see any issues running a 305 in the rear on an 11” wheel without any alteration? 305 on a 10.5”? (I’d easily consider a 295 if the wheel size called for a better fit, I can swap in 200TW options if I feel like it)
• Any long term drivers on a 305 reporting paint damage as a result

I’m not loyal to brands; Enkei, Titan, Apex, Konig, etc. I’d also prefer to support vendors here on the forum and enjoy the discounts as well.

I will be staying with a 35 aspect ratio.

No budget. Looking for ideas. Have explored Enkei GTC02s and Titan TS-5s primarily with some others. I’m new to a lot of this but dive into the paralytic technicality of everything I decide to read up on.

Commenting just to follow and say I’m in the same boat and considering those wheels and the same tire setup. But I might dive in the deep end and do coil overs as well since that seems to free up some clearance from what I’ve read…?

I’ll also add I did a DP/flex kit and tune first and the stock setup barely hangs on with a 3rd gear pull rolling into the throttle on good street surface. So more grip is indeed welcomed.

A very popular setup for us is the Titan7 TS5 in 19s, people run a 275/295 combo or a 305 in the back, depends on the tire and suspension setup as well.

For wheels, run some nice forged Volk Racing wheels and don’t look back!

If fitted properly you can fit a 9.5 front with 275 and 11 rear with 305s. I am running BC forged wheels with those widths and have no issues even lowered. I would find a vendor that can spec the proper wheels for you.

I dropped 4 lbs per tire with the aluminum monoblock VR20 series, which is one of their heaviest and stiffest series of wheels.

The GT10 series is close to the same look as the Enkei GTC02s.
The RS5 series is close to the same look as the Titan TS-5s.

Interesting. Never heard of them. Probably more than I feel like spending all things considered - can’t ignore other hobbies!
