I just went with this. Works well

While this is cool, I don't want those sticking out all the time, especially during a track day. Probably a non-issue, but I'm overly paranoid.

Just popping those suckers out is starting to look like a really good option as well.... They really don't serve a purpose other than being a pain in the arse lol

Yeah this is a good point. Maybe spray some underbody spray just to prevent rust.

I don't know if these have been mentioned yet but I found someone's design to 3d print solid plastic blocks that attach to the u-shaped jack stands. They even swivel. I've used them plenty of times and so far have seen zero issues. They are really simple to print and I can probably get a set out the door in a day or so.
