I'm looking to buy an electric pressure washer, mainly for the car amongst other purposes.
I do not want gas powered.
I've used Karcher, so I'm leaning towards K5 premium or K2000.
Willing to pay for quality. <$500
It shall at least be engineered outside of China.
Durable connectors is a must.
Wheels for sure.
Reel for cable and hose is a plus.
I'd like to be able to attach like an MTM foam cannon. Any better suggestions for foam cannon?

What do you guys use? Any suggestions?

Thanks Lou!
Comet was priced ridiculously and wasn't immediately available. I did go ahead with Karcher K5 Premium, already got it yesterday.

You can try Sun Joe SPX3000-BLK Electric pressure washer. It is a wonderful product at a reasonable price. Check the detail on amazon

I just got an SPX3500 like, two days ago, so once I finally get around to using it on a car (it's more for the siding/patio but hey, if you can "justify" getting extra car toys by pretending it's for something else...). Feels beefy when I put it together, at least. Assembly was really easy, even for someone as non-handy as I am.

Are you trying to fill Roberts shoes? The last post in this thread was five years old.
Dammit! I thought it was a new thread as well and was gonna tell him my wife’s fav power washer. She’s one picky car detailer, pool cage, pavement & house cleaner.

I have never used a power washer on a car - in fact I don't see why you would unless its a semi/dump truck thats full of caked on mud.

Preach. These big name wash companies are starting rumors that you have to use a pressure washer or even a clean wash mitt when washing your car. Save your $$.

My $99 Ryobi has been a trooper for the last four years. With the money I saved on the actual pressure washer, I splurged on a high quality hose that doesn't kink and a nice sprayer.

Does a great job getting all the track muck off my Supra.

I need to do something exactly like you did with a few shelves and the hose reel. The one thing I hate dealing with is recoiling up the hose when I'm done and even uncoiling it.

I've got that adam 2.0 and I really like it a lot. Just got everything it came with being the longer hose and snubby wash nozzle along with a couple of their foam cannons.

That's a great picture of those wheels too

I honest to God haven't used a hose on any of my cars for about 15 years now.

I clean in my garage with a bucket of warm water, and (if needed for winter) a small garden sprayer to rinse the dirt down.

I thrown the rags in the washer on hot with detergent and no fabric softener and then hang dry them.

Diggin the DIY OG setup. I bet this was a fraction of his stuff and works just as well for its purpose.

Think I’ll be pulling the trigger (no pun intended) on an EGO. Got two 7.5 ah batteries for a snowblower just sitting around all summer. Might as well put them to use.
