That's absolutely fine. If they dont sell that's fine. They are at $75 during initial release. I'm sure someone will eventually come out with a whole mirror mount replacement for several hundred.

I choose stick on route for one of the reasons you mentioned. Price. The other was ease of install. So being that they were stick on I designed them to be low profile and blend in with the car. Which they do.

I still have my first version in the car. And unless I'm looking for them, I never even know they are there.

Do you happen to have anyone testing them on a road course?

I'm not sure of anyone is road course racing with them. But that shouldnt matter.

To solve this problem on a budget, buy some self-adhesive 1/2" plastic "bumpers" and stick 4-5 in the mirror gusset area. That's all it takes to solve the problem.

Square bumpers rotated to a diamond shape would probably be the most effective.

I can confirm this definitely works. I had a bunch of the square ones in my house and decided to stick a few on and take a test drive. I can verify no buffeting up to 80 mph. I only tried them on the driver’s side. I’m assuming they would work just as well on the passenger side. Only problem is they don’t look nearly as nice as the actual parts in this thread.

Cool! You can try fewer, heck it may only take 1-2 of them. And smaller bumpers (1/4") might work too, but I haven't run a complete test.

I got this idea from "trip dots" we use in wind tunnel testing to resolve issues like this. It only takes a small "bias" introduced into the flow to get rid of unstable phenomena.

Black bumpers, smaller bumpers, fewer bumpers would be the next things to try. Or any other self-sticking small shape that can create a bias in the flow.

Thanks, but I know how much time & testing twisted tuning put into developing these plus he’s an active member on this forum so for $15 more I’d rather support him!
