https://ls1tech.com/forums/midweste...estion-readiness-monitors-2.html#post11684336With a tune you will NOT have a check engine light, but your rear O2 check will come back as "NOT READY" and while other metrics will say "READY" this might be enough to make you not able to pass - you would have to double check your emission law.
of course, i have doubts the armytrix cat sim will still work 10 years into the future. so if you know about a more permanent solution for IL emissions (other than register the car in Gary Indiana...), I'm up to try anything. You can have 1 monitor not ready and still pass as long as its not the catalyst monitor which is the converter.
Yup in stock www.1FastSupra.comCatless is catless is catless is a metal pipe is a metal pipe.
Also @Jesse DaBears and I are in Chicago. Jesse probably has catless in stock.
we may need to take this to PMs, but I was under the impression that secondary o2 sensor was the only CEL code that cannot be suppressed and overridden into ready state with ecutek. and IL emissions allows for up to one unready sensor, but exception cannot be the secondary o2.

Your better off looking on the BMW forums for this type of info - I have catless car with BM3 Femto Unlock flashed with the "Stage 2 Multimap".we may need to take this to PMs, but I was under the impression that secondary o2 sensor was the only CEL code that cannot be suppressed and overridden into ready state with ecutek. and IL emissions allows for up to one unready sensor, but exception cannot be the secondary o2.

interesting... did the air team guy even comment on it?I passed smog on my 06 GTO with no cats and the rear O2 were "not ready".
The only comment was "SOUNDS GOOD MAN" - while the whole facility stunk like raw gas.interesting... did the air team guy even comment on it?
it's so hard to find IL-specific smog info. seems like a lot of threads are focused on CA smog checks, which seem to be next level of strict.
About a month ago they changed it so that cars will not pass the test with systems "not supported" when they know the car has the system. Last month I passed with evap and o2s all disabled and "not supported" but heard they changed it like right after I passed.

Interesting, has anyone tried it on here yet? I see a few bimmerpost threads, but they're all from 2017 or so (so the cars are probably ~2014 models).AREA 74 Cat Sim works but only for EM Test don’t want to leave it in place long term
