BSM is only optional on select models of the current Toyota lineup; however, the same was previously true of lane assist and they ended up making that standard in 2017, so BSM will likely be standard by the time this car is released.

While tiny side mirrors may make for a more attractive design, this car is going to have huge blind spots, so for driveability I would much prefer the larger mirrors mandated in Europe.

The good news here is that at least one of the camo'ed cars had an indicator light of the type used by blind spot monitoring systems on the passenger side mirror, so BSM will at least be an option if not standard equipment.
No one here is saying they want tiny little mirrors. What I have, and many others have expressed is that we want stylish mirrors to match the body work. Not bland and oversize units from an outgoing 3-series. My earlier example are the ones found on the E89. They are not too small or larger, and the styling matches the exterior body. As for Supra93's rendering, I like the style and they could be made larger for more practicality reasons.

Lol, I was just saying the front bumper is more Enzo-like than the Lambo, if anything, but there is still very little parallel aside from the F1 inspiration in all 3.

Excuse the fast Paint job, but maybe it will be like this? :dunno:

That looks nice and I hope that will be the case, but the spy shots look like it was an after thought. Like someone decided at the last minute to just put on a fake panel on the door to make it look similar to the FT1.

Well that rendering you cited as a great example for the Supra without any qualifications in your op sure had tiny mirrors. These would need to be tripled in height to be truly practical, which would change the look considerably.

I'm not sure there is any way to make a large side mirror look really good on such a small car as the production Supra - a proportion problem. The Pagani mirror looks good, but it's on a much bigger car - and it's still too small for ideal visibility.

If you go back before that I said things need to be "size appropriate". As far as the rendering goes I was really addressing HKz and said was it was a good example of non-door mounted mirrors can still look good.

I think the MKIV has appropriate sized mirrors; they just need to do the same in this case. I made the mirrors larger, IMO still look better then most BMW mirrors.

Another thing I noticed unless the camo is just doing a really good job, but the hood seems wide and plain. I would hope the final product has a bit more character to it. As of right now it reminds me of a egg shell. It could surely use more lines.
I think it looks plain because we are all use to the see through hood on the FT1. I also hope Toyota spice things up a bit for the front.
