Yay just in time for it to sit in the garage for 6 months from winterI'd assume 'launch' = press debut, as in showing the world what will be available for sale shortly.
I expect the car to arrive on dealer lots in late summer/early fall 2019 if all goes well.

A70, if launch/press debut is March 19, and arriving in dealers summer 19, wouldnt the the launch need to be earlier? Or will there be a viewing event or something earlier?I'd assume 'launch' = press debut, as in showing the world what will be available for sale shortly.

Sorry guys, just my opinion, but given todays factors such as global economics, costs, safety requirements, competition and Lexus in the picture now, I doubt there will be a significant major mid cycle change like adding a manual trans, if the car is successful in the sales they want, we could see some small tweaks ex. different different tailights etc. but thats about it...there is little news because the forum insiders have gone and there's less speculation on the looks.
this late in development, there will be no major changes. any changes being worked on now will be a mid cycle update
I was able to sit in one of those a couple of years ago. Very impressed with that car. I don't know why they wouldn't offer that transmission in the IS350 as I believe it was the same engine. Also, as another glimmer of hope, remember Toyota did do a limited edition Mark X GRMN with a manual in Japan, and that wasn't even a huge ask from buyers.
