That looks like bmw stalks, bmw shifter, bmw steering wheel with their buttons and a Toyota logo. ☹☹
i don't quite see the "toyota" sourced parts either...

think best car's rendering is now pretty likely..at least redline is above 6 K :headbang:

My running theory is that these interiors are BMW parts bin stuff and have been around since the early prototypes, but the actual Toyota-spec interiors are on the test cars in Japan, not Germany.

Might just be wishful thinking though. :dunno:

^ I hope you're right. But then again why would Toyota allow spy photos of this interior unless they are wanting to add more stress to the list of things people are already pushing back on only to surprise everyone when the unveil it.

Is that a DCT shifter or a straight up auto shifter? :what:

Well, spy photos aren't in Toyotas control. Photos are going to be taken regardless, and they can't just leak everything to get forum dwellers like us excited. This stuff is under wraps because it goes through dozens of iterative changes and the manufacturer doesn't need people to see all 10-15 versions as it develops.

Considering that this interior looks very similar to the spy pics from last year, I really feel like it's just prototype stuff. But again, maybe they saw that base 3-series interior and said "Gotta have it!" :p

I didn't think the shifter changed between TC & DCT?

They made the exterior pretty damn close to the ft1, why couldn’t they do the same with the interior
no more money? it would be upsetting if they spent a good bit of money on things we don't really care about while leaving out the one thing we're dying for..

TBH the BMW interiors have been better than anything Toyota has offered from what I’ve seen. Also the BMW infotainment system is far and beyond better than the one Toyota and Lexus use.

I disagree. I prefer Lexus interior and materials (recent Toyota's have come close to Lexus) > BMW. The infotainment system I can't argue there :p

True Lexus has a nicer interior but this is a Toyota. Toyota interiors have generally been pretty budget and basic up until most recently.

Aside from base models, BMW has put in a lot of subtle effort (sound the door makes when it closes, the feel of the buttons and knobs, composite materials for the shifter)

DCT M Shifter, i'm not sure if this would look similar in the Supra but it would probably be close.

And if i'm to be honest compared to how well the current exterior complements the concept. It's a little disappointing to see how bland the interior is on that spy photo...Especially compared to this.....

Not a single design element carried over, but can't win them all I suppose. Would still take a semi-bland interior if Manual made the cut.

The center console is not very attractive in that picture....also very M2 looking...

Also, hoping the nav screen has a feature where you push a button and it goes down out of the way when you dont want/need it... the new Audi RS3 does this and I think it is a great feature...
