* Stalking talking to dude at bar
Freudian Slip or Autocorrect hosted by Steve Harvey?

I'm impartial on the social media topic. I have a toddler so I have FB mainly to keep the annoying family members updated. It keeps me from having to physically interact with them. I have LinkedIn but that platform is turning into something worse than all others combined.

How could they know you don't do social medial without at least getting to know you a little bit?

This might be one of the most insane hot takes I've ever heard.

* Stalking talking to dude at bar
* Realize you both enjoy the same hobby
* Get along
* Chat it up for a bit
* Let's hang out again, this was fun
* Exchange information
* Meet again at Cars and Coffee
* See Instagram sticker on car
* Immediately refuse to ever talk to this person again
Kinda makes my point for me... but I'm good with being insane then. Although, I guess if I'm stalking a dude in a bar... you know something about me I've never known myself. ? Of course someone having an Instagram sticker on their car wouldn't mean I'd refuse to ever talk to that person again... but I'd already be starting to worry what topics will always be off-limits (and if they had their Twitter handle as well I'd be backing away slowly).

Naturally my post was exaggerated for comedic effect - after all, I wouldn't have given them my phone number in the first place. ;)

you are not the only one that feels like this

its obvious not one person/most have any idea how warranty claims or a dealership works lol. toyota/bmw 100% knows if you have even had any type of aftermarket calibration/how many times your ecu has been "flashed".

lets say this dealership some how got preauthorization from toyota to replace this engine (over looking that they have to send in some type of scan report and documents showing point of failure) when the internal warranty clerk goes to get the claim paid for the dealership after the vehicle is repaired and delivered back to the customer, it gets denied (this a game that all manufactures play to basically be the IRS and audit you after you file your taxes) because that $25k warranty claim falls on the dealership AND the technician for that aftermarket calibration issue. some dealerships will seek some kind of retribution for a mis-diagnosis from a technician.

as far as the person that said stay in your pay grade, that is a technicians pay grade. i am a master technician. i deal with hellcats every week with people trying to commit warranty fraud, in the hellcat nation of Atlanta. you modifty your car that is a risk you are taking. i have a supra with ecutek and a flex tune myself.

as far as another person that implied he is jealous that he doesn't own one, and the funniest comment in this thread, he makes $9 an hour and acts like he makes $60. i can assure you master technicians that are working on your supras, do make that kind of money partly due to that fact most people don't want to be technicians, they want to be Instagram famous, and wouldn't know a hard days work if it slapped them in the face. the fact that some people here seem to be talking down about this technician as he is some low life, seem to be quite shallow. i live a very cushy life in my supra as a master technician, and have worked my ass off to be where i am.

moral of this post is you play games and tune you car, you have no warranty. i play this game myself, and you wont find me looking for warranty assistance when i blow my engine.
S U P E R B POST! T R U T H!

Want respect from your tech's - SHOW THEM some! They can help you. Usually it pays off!

The guy should of been honest with the dealership and said he fked up. And asked for an one time goodwill claim even if it’s partially offered by the Toyota, any help will help. Affer a dealership finds out you were lying to them, your done.
Common sense eludes many these days. Its amazing what honesty will do for you.

Yet the same folks literally lying to the dealer will say the world is corrupt. FK THEM!

I, for one, would not have made it past the age of 21 if I lived there.

Actual footage of digicidal in his last ride:
And my warranty claim was denied because of that sweet hood scoop I was rocking. ?

Sadly the days of being a city that never sleeps are long over with the Californication in the last 10 years. When I was 21 however (back in the 90's) - yeah, the party usually didn't start until midnight and ended long after the sun was up. These days it's just because I'm in IT and server/network maintenance requires off-hours (and by 9pm at least it's dropped below 100F outside).

I usually have about a hour or two of work left.

The guy knew he voided his warranty took full responsibility for it. It's imo shitty for another person to screenshot stuff like that just to be a jerk. To me, its no different then calling the cops for someone speeding, or anything else. I am a very much a "mind your own business" type of person if it doesn't concern you. Just my opinion is all. Not saying what either one did is right or wrong. I respect technicians fully. But do they respect customers? Some yes. Some no. If you lower your car and your engine blows up, any dealer would quick to deny warranty and blame it being lowered which everyone in the world knows wasn't the case. Matter of opinion. My point for it all wasn't saying right or wrong, but essentially tattle taling on someone is ridiculous. My .02

Juice box has been messing up BMW’s from back in the days. Just Google jb4 or juice box blows up bmw motor/turbos. You will find some over the course.
Could you please elaborate? it's common for Jb4 to cause blown engines?

I never tried a piggy back, but as far as I know, it's like fuzzing the DME, injecting bad data trying to get the desired output, so I see a possibility for failure, like ignoring the knock sensors?
