How much of a power difference is there between a High flow Catted DP and Catless DP?

Basically none. How much of a power difference is there between a High flow Catted DP and Catless DP?
To each their own haha, I grew up around 60's-70's muscle cars and love the "gas and exhaust fume" smell. I have a cat less DP and you do for sure smell a ton of exhaust/gas fumes when idling.Go HFC unless you want your car to stink and give you headaches while idling.
So basically I’ll have to go catless eventually bc I do plan on getting a bigger turboOn the stock motor/turbo there might not be much difference.
When you upgrade the turbo, the down pipe becomes the bottleneck.
Catless will give you the best performance, at the best price, with the ability to grow without bottleneck.
By the posts on this forum, it appears even catted downpipes at almost 800 dollars more than non catted ones are still throwing CELs.
As others had mentioned - you will have to deal with the smell, which gets on your clothes,etc...
Pick your poison.
depends on what you mean by big turbo? Stock frame turbo? No. Big turbo, might as well since you’re going for big boy power. So basically I’ll have to go catless eventually bc I do plan on getting a bigger turbo
I would say this isn’t true. AA has on their website that for their catted DP it’s rated up to 850hp. How they determined that I have absolutely no idea but either way I would bet over 90% of us never are going to get close to 850hp.So basically I’ll have to go catless eventually bc I do plan on getting a bigger turbo
Probably leaning towards pure 800 not 100% sure yet I’m not trying to make crazy power between 500 and 550 I’d be happy withdepends on what you mean by big turbo? Stock frame turbo? No. Big turbo, might as well since you’re going for big boy power.
