I wouldn’t use a phone for boost. Too much lag

Did this work for you?
I got the aem obd2 gauge in today. It works like it should, it doesn’t show everything on the list that aem shows on its site just because not every car has every sensor. I’ve got two installed to show oil temp and boost pressure. May get a third for intake temps aswell. Unfortunately it does not have the ability to read ethanol count.

Good news! Thanks for sharing here. Would you be willing to show (pics!) how you installed the setup and maybe point us towards the parts you used? I would like to do the same thing you have to have more information be accessible to obsess over.

I was reading some reviews about obdII splitters since i had yet to order one for the daisy chain plan; it seems as though I CANNOT run two gauges at the same time. the obdII port will not send data to both devices at once, just power. disappointing.

Am I wrong (I hope)? Solutions welcome

Well it turns out I was wrong. One obd2 gauge per car for aem gauges. Luckily
@Thraxbert recommended this company that makes gauges for diesel trucks that works quite well as daisychains. Plus it’ll show up to 8 different sensors per gauge at once! Along with shift lights, min / max pop up warnings for 20 sensors at a time, and even more features I’ll probably never touch.

Just plug into the obd2. Mounting from ortiz custom pods on the way here.Next update should be the completed setup
