The Z and Supra are complete opposites in a typical sports car silhouette. The Z will be loved more by those who love understated, clean yet simple sports car lines(which sometimes looks very boring or good to my eyes) and the Supra has all kinds of exotic and aggressive flowing lines that will easily capture the eyes of many people similar to a true low slung exotic(more to my liking).

They are slowly leaking that out. Coincidental to the upcoming official release. The 'manual' will overcome that??? LOL - The hype is actually the community behind it on the Z forums. Not a surprise but the thinking and impressions there are all SUPRA KILLER - YOU OWN A BMW not a SUPRA etc etc etc.

So............................its just entertaining to the see the 'spin' on this coming out and how that community will manage it. Their hope was a Nissan sportscar to best that little fake Supra-BMW.

It will be a nice GT but in reality the last thing most Z's will want to see is a 3 liter Supra near them it appears. Any spec obsessed Nissan Bro's might be in for a shock? More weight, poorly distributed, smaller tire width etc. On the surface the physics dont say Z.

I don't give a flying shit about the "fans" that act tribalistic for the Z and against the GR Supra.

I'm hoping that the Z kicks ass in its own right. It's heartwarming to see the Z get some well needed attention. At the end of the day capitalism does what it does best and allows these two cars coexist and compete against each other.

Both cars have their own merits and demerits.

The way that Lewis lost out the title was unfortunate and borderline felt like a robbery given how idiotic Masi acted with the safety car. This doesn't take away from how Max was performing the entire season. He deserves the 2021 WDC.

Speaking of which, I don't hate the Z. At all. Sure it's ugly as sin, in principle an old decrepit woman with too many botox injections and plastic surgeries, but they have their place too.

There's different implementations of the term "GT".

You're fooling yourself if you think the Z is a GT like the 911 GT3 and not a GT like the Q60.

GT in GT3 means the exact same thing. GRAND TOURING. The 3 just means it's in that race class for GT cars made into racecars. That's why there's a regular 911, and a GT3 race car version.

I’ve been on forums. They believe a rod prop is z32 heritage. They don’t want dual climate control for $40k+ sports car, even though all its competitors have it. They believe it’s faster than a supra, too include better handling because it has a manual.
