I was in the market early-December for a 3.0 premium, after selling my 997. Mid-Atlantic is as bad as SoCal - some local dealers asking $3k over, some even crazier and asking 10k over (not to name names... Koons), which is out-of-this world, especially when some dealers are ready to do biz at MSRP. Didn't take long to figure that I needed to look elsewhere.

Did what a lot of members here did: looked up online for all the Toyota dealers around, checked their websites for inventory (to my surprise, Cargurus is a really useful tool to see new inventory listed), made quick phone calls to let them know I'm serious and looking for MSRP. In parallel, created a spreadsheet based on the information gathered, with car details and prices confirmed. I was very close to getting the car at the Clearwater dealer but had to pass on that since I was out of town. Finally, got the Renaissance Red one at Bennett Toyota of Lebanon (PA) at MSRP. Had CF mirrors, which I was indifferent to. Collin did an amazing job of handling the process - no surprises when I got there and drove the car out of the lot in ~24hrs after I confirmed over the phone.

Other dealers confirmed MSRP for reference are Walser (MN) and Beaman (TN). Hope this is helpful.

TL;DR: Have patience, look online for out-of-state dealers, and drive home your Supra at MSRP.

I went to Bob Richards Toyota in South Carolina. I got it either $1000 or $1500 under MSRP back in August 2021. They were easy to deal with and didn't try any shady shit.

As a bonus, a salesman there had an MST intake with the turbo inlet that he bought for his Supra but never installed, so he sold it to me for $300. Score.

Central Maine Toyota in Waterville Maine, don't know if they have any stock anymore, but I was able to get a 21 3.0 Premium for 5k under MSRP this past december. (No add ons, no games by dealer either). I wish I could attach an image to show the pricing, but I am having technical difficulties.

San Francisco Toyota is selling 3.0 Premiums at MSRP, but there's a waiting list. $500 deposit and a copy of your driver's license. Emailed a request for information, received a prompt reply and initiated a phone call with the sales manager, who told me that they were 'preselling' Supra's at MSRP but you must wait on the list.

The list is 4 people long at the moment (I'm number 4), with the first 3 looking for specific builds, so any Bay Area residents are definitely recommended to jump on now.

I’m really curious what your wait time will be.

I was quoted a 2-3 month wait at the very latest, but as mentioned I am first right now for anything that isn't a Nitro Yellow, Phantom Grey or a White w/ red interior. These 3 specific builds have been on the list since November, so yeah....

They receive 2-4 Supra's a month and are receiving their February shipment right now, so if I get really lucky, I could get one as soon as mid March.

Hoping to grab either a Black or White, and I'll definitely keep this thread up to date with any news as well on wait times.

Thats great to hear. I picked mine up in October from SF Toyota. Amazing guys to work with. I believe it was Phil and Steven who helped me out. Good luck, I hope one shows up soon.

Great to hear, did they play any games with you when the car arrived like bullshit accessories that were installed at the dealer vs port installed? Looking to make this a painless transaction and I haven't really dealt with a "normal" brand like Toyota/Honda in ages, my last experience left a very sour taste in my mouth.

Not at all, everything was straight forward. No games. Both parties were happy. I was offered a deal I couldn’t say no to and haven’t looked back since.

Notorious around dealerships is that the finance department will push packages at you. tire/wheel, maintenance, warranty, GAP.
Get what you want, run the numbers. If it doesn’t make sense, tell them and they’ll more than likely lower the price. By all means do not be afraid to say no..

One last thing! Idk about you but I don’t want someone drilling into my front bumper. Make sure they don’t put a front plate bracket on. You have the option to use a toe hook plate holder if necessary.

If anyone is in the Portland, OR area I ended up picking up a 22' 3.0 Premium at McCords Vancouver Toyota (https://www.vancouvertoyota.com/). I threw down a deposit (1k, refundable) to get my name on the car in late October (10/2021) and drove out of the dealership a few days after Christmas (12/2021) so there was a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it!

Sorry for the dumb question but I thought Oregon doesn't have sales tax?

Bump.

I just got a call from SF Toyota that a Noct 3.0 Premium was secured for me, but I already bought one in the meantime. Was still at MSRP. Trying to see if a coworker of mine is allowed to take my place in line.

Showed up much sooner than expected.
