now that this information has apparently been dispersed to marketing teams worldwide, some of the new info circulating is as follows (subject to change but unlikely):

SZ - 4cyl
SZ-R - 6cyl, 3070lbs
RZ - 6 cyl 3350lbs

starting price for SZ still appears to be $40,000USD
so a 4 cyl will be available everywhere?

see above, might be coming to the US, maybe not. Still no confirmation.

Will be available in SE Asia, Japan, and parts of Europe for now.

Besides the weight differences can you tell us more about the SZ-R vs RZ? :)

Oh ok thanks, hopefully it stays off our shores. Personally, the idea of a 4 cyl model is a boner killer for me.
I think the argument is something like this:

Accountants/forecasters: zOMG, we need the 4cyl to appeal to green customers and those that want good mpg...

The rest of Toyota: Dear God, no, I will do anything in my power to keep that and the Gazoo name off our shores.

Lmao. There are still people with a pulse at Toyota.

What's the weight of the 4 cylinder even though it ain't the main objective?

Also, 280 lbs difference between SZ-R and RZ?

Same here, I hope its not the 335hp and 350hp that has been widely reported.
Time and time again I mention the 425 HP and get a smiley from A70 so unless Toyota USA decide to screw up this car, we can see a healthy rise.

I'm still hoping for a 10k difference between the SZ and SZ-R and another 10k difference between the SZ-R and RZ

Is the RZ really just a loaded luxury version if you will?
For a car that's suppose to be THE sports car, adding luxury features is a head scratcher. Now, if it was 3300 lbs for the SZ-R and the RZ was 3070, that would be eye opening.
