So I have converted from bolts to studs & lug nuts recently. Looks great even on OEM rims but wondering if possible to put a cap on it as I heard lug nuts rust inside quicker if go capless. Cheers.

Studs: 77mm
Lug nuts: R40 iconix M14x1.50

Project kics r40 is pure junk, they will rust on inside. I had 3 sets. Never again. You will definitely need some caps.

You’re awfully close. From your picture it appears you might not be able to. I ran a 65mm stud on mine and I was able to run the caps.

This looks shitty.

I can understand using studs and lugs, but why not use the right length? Proper-length studs with closed lugs would look better and not corrode.

Also, your wheels are filthy.

I know that wheels havn't been washed for weeks, but I'm changing to new wheels soon, so why bother. The studs are the only few in stock I can grab, and the length is not that bad if considering putting spacers in the future. Anyway, I appreciate advice rather than judgement, mate.

I know, that's why I go capless initially. But if look closer, still have few gap that might fit some caps. Anyway, I'm happy to run it capless, just seek possibilities. cheers

I never understood the exposed stud conversions myself. I guess it gives that SpeedRacer look.

When you change the wheels a lot (drag radials on and off) it's just convenient.

If you have access to a 3d printer and some fusion360 knowledge I'd imagine you could print a set of caps out of PETG or possibly even PLA!
