Rear fender question

Are the aluminum fenders above the rear wheels single or double layered? Can they do PDR from behind to fix a parking lot dent?

They don't always have to go from behind to fix the dent. They will pull it out and then tap down the high spots. A good PDR tech is an artist.

I am pretty aware of what PDR can do and glue pulls and all, but I have a specific question about the rear fender/quarter panel metal.

It looks double walled to me - most rear quarter panels are.

Thanks everyone for your replies - it is steel and double-walled.

The rear fenders, and front fenders are steel. The hood and doors are aluminium. The rear hatch is composite.

Yes. And there are little access cutouts in the fender liners.

Do you know if removing the rear bumper gives more access to this? I removed it once but it was a pita to do but am willing to try everything to get the rest of the dent out with dent rods
