Hey guys, I have looked around the forum and seen a lot of 18” to 20” wheels being fitted. Have anyone fitted 21” or tried to do so.

Right now my plan is to put 9.0 x 19” with 255/35 R 19 Front and 11.0 x 20” with 305/35 R 20 Rear. But I came across this;

https://www.motortrend.com/news/toyota-supra-ac-schnitzer-modifications-power-a90-mkv/

https://www.ac-schnitzer.de/en/toyo...ming-anthracite-michelin-for-toyota-gr-supra/

The AC Schnitzer wheel spec being:
FA: 9,0 x 21" ET 24 with 245/30 R 21
RA: 9,0 x 21" ET 14 with 265/30 R 21

Now I’m wondering if 9.0 x 20” with 255/35 R 20 front and 11.0 x 21” 305/30 R 21 rear be possible (my car is going to be on a set of KW V3 CS). I have contacted AC Schnitzer, they said their setup is on stock suspension and just need a spacer to make it work.

What do you guys think about this? Any input would be much appreciated.

Edit: The wheels I plan to get is not the AC Schnitzer ones, those are just a proof of concept. I plan to get it custom made with magnesium from litespeed racing.

Why not? I’m quite hesitant as well as I have asked a few shops around me and the largest they have fitted are 20”, hence they could not really comment on it. From what I have seen, the pictures of the AC Schnitzer 21” does not look too outrageous.

At the moment I’m leaning towards the 19F 20R setup, but just wondering can the 21R be done.

Just bolt up like 8 50mm spacers to each side and then you can run whatever size wheel you want
Haha nice, the roads where I live is narrow enough as it is. With wheels dangling so far out I will be blocking traffic for days

Why is this suddenly a thing? I was fine seeing the c8 wheels but 20s barely leave a 30 sidewall. If I want my car to be completely uncomfortable and run a 25 sidewall then by all means. I don’t personally want to run a sidewall that small and have rubber bands on my tires

Why not just do 20’s front and back? Why would you want a 1 inch smaller wheel up front?

At the end of the day its your car do what you like with it. Technically they will fit on a stock ride height car. But if you decide to lower it then “Vaya con Dios”.

To be honest, anything above 20inch is going to look cheesy and I think you're going to hate the ride quality. Not to shoot down your taste, but those wheels look horrible.

It depends on what your goal is for your car. If this is going to be your performance/trackday/autocross absolutely not. If you're going for a show car, I wouldn't go above 20inch.

Me personally. 19inch and lowering springs looks best.

Anything above 19 kind of looks too big for the car (for my tastes). I have 20's, but that's because I wanted to have the Professor/Meister 5 spoke look and had to go with that size for them to clear the brakes. I will eventually grab a set of 19' mono wheels

You won't be able to fit 305/30 21 x 11 on a lowered GR Supra without modification/cutting into things.

Edit ...Or maybe you can. It will definitely have a rake though if you do a staggered with the specs you're going for. At the end of the day it's your car so do it up like you want.

Stock wheel : 19", 275/35 = 48,26cm + 9,625cm = 57,89cm height
21" 305/30 = 53,34cm + 9,15cm = 62,49cm height
20" 305/30 = 50,8cm + 9,1cm = 59,1cm height
RA: 9,0 x 21" ET 14 with 265/30 R 21 = 53,34cm + 7,95 = 61,3cm height
Stock wheel + 3cm drop = 60,89cm height
2,54cm = 1 inch
Looking at ACS photos theys still some space but they use pretty narrow tires.
Probably you don't find any problem at the rear but think about front, they leans while turning.

All my cars have the same size wheel front and back from the factory. But I quite like the staggered look of the rear one inch larger.
