How does that work for people that don’t/won’t being going port injection?

What I would love to have is a full plug and play solution.
if you're not using port injection. there is absolutely no reason to upgrade the in tank LPFP.

Agreed. I am just talking about a surge tank solution to combat fuel starvation on track.
sorry I must have skipped right oast that part of the convo.

long sweeping lefts?

Right turns. I haven't experienced it yet. I am on stock tune and always keep tank topped off. I lost an engine in my Evo 10 from fuel starvation so I am trying to be much more pro-active with the Supra.

You can honestly piece all the parts together for less then $300. That's what I did, mine is similar to Visconti and hooks right up right to my Motiv box.

This thread is dead so I’m second hand hyjacking

Anyone here running e85 on STOCK TURBO that recorded dyno gains? What are the 1/4 mile times like? Stock trans issues?

1. definitely stock trans issues without limited torque intelligently

2. haven't dynod the cars

3. they run low 7sec 60-130 and maybe high 6s depending on weight and etc.

4. low 10s in the 1/4, possibly touch a 9.9 there abouts if the moon and stars align

i can run full e85 and have stock turbo but prefer around e40 power on the road track.

I have never bothered to do a 1/4- not my thing. But am curious and always mean to do one at the track during a lunch break or something. If i had to guess based on experience i am probably low 11 maybe 10.9 IF i had decent rubber in the back. I don't have a chance for a decent time with my square 275 set up.

no issues w trans

When i tuned i wanted longevity on the road course and wanted to be able to actually put the power down coming out of corners. So it is a conservative tune designed not to come close to maxing out anything. i was around 520hp/625 tq and a very conservative tune and tough mustang dyno.

Never run that map. On the road course i am shooting for 450-470hp

Gotcha

Yeah you have the setup I inquire about but not the same goals. I’m already at e50, just wondering what extra power I can pull out of e85 pushing the stock turbo to its limits.

You can def wring more power out of it. No idea about longevity if you max it out?
If your goals are 1/4 times you haven't got a chance to be competitive with oem turbo when there are tons of people on large Pures and variety of top mounts making silly power.

I mean, yeah 1/4 mile is what I’m after but not to win competitions or anything to that extent.

My car on it’s current setup « should » run a 10.8 but best I got to is a 11.3
Hopefully if I make my car capable of 9.9 then I’ll finally run 10s ?

Edit: + I do plan to blow the stock turbo up eventually. Don’t really want to spend the money for port and the turbo all at once, hence why I’m also trying to keep the trans stock.. for now

Would you say that stock turbo on e85 > e50 on pure 850?
Assuming you run port injection or upgraded HPFP on both. The pure 850 is the better option for power.

Without extra fuel support. The more ethanol you run the less power you make dye to the stock HPFP running out of flow.

520whp/625wtq out of a stock turbo is not conservative at all.
