5 years from now they will just be getting delivered to some people, lol.
Honestly though, the wait times alone are enough make this car a non-starter for me, you know, other than the ridiculous costs to get one.

The current Z06 waitlist from the top 2 Corvette Dealerships that sell at MSRP (MacMulkin and Ciocca) are crazy long! And only 25% of C8 production will be dedicated to the Z06...

I guess I had been thinking/hoping very high $80K/low $90K range so $106K to start feels like a lot. Weird proposition to say a Z06 is worth two Stingrays... OTOH dealers near me seem to think a used GT3 is worth $300K. Never thought I'd say this, but we might need a really severe recession to get all this froth out of the market.

I have to agree!
I'm currently on MacMulkins waitlist to purchase my C8 at MSRP and still have about a 6 month wait left...I'm hoping the downturn in the market and probable recession will accelerate the dropout rate so I can get my Stingray quicker!

My build is 160k. I was expecting 150 so not bad. But I’m probably going to flip it for 200k and buy another house ?

How did you price out a Z06 with options? GM's C8 Z06 "build and price" is not active or available yet? Did you price yours out through a Dealer today?
If your intending on flipping then you must already be on a waitlist for MSRP then? I'm also hearing 2~3 year waitlist times for the Z06...Hopefully the market for flippers is still strong by then...

Looks like an amazing car. If the run of the mill C8’s are going for $100K right now then how much will the Z06 street price be, $200K?
Looks like the only Z06’s I will see will be from my local cotton toppers.

Pricing is about what I anticipated. Those originally guesstimating 80-90k base were delusional. A bargain at MSRP but we know how that goes...
The options list and pricing is posted everywhere along with the base figures so you can manually add everything up.
I'm going to call in some favors and see what I can do about getting 'on the list' but my last homeboy hookup on a 6sp MKV fell through so not as optimistic... For now my Stingray is happily a 'sit back and wait and see' placeholder. I love it as-is so the Z06 will be magical.

Yeah.. Without any connections the wait will be 2-3 years and/or insane markup. A friend has a 5 over deal with the stipulation you have to trade in a C8. Lots of angles..
Only reason my 6sp MSRP deal fell through is the dealer later decided not to honor an out of state sale. I could still get the car -- friend buys it and I buy it from them -- but then I'm paying sales tax, etc.. 2x. Depending on what markups look like that would likely still be the better deal. At this point I'd much much rather have the Z06 than a 6sp Supra so shifting my efforts to see if I can make that happen sooner than later.
