With the reliability issues Ferrari has had, I don't see them going the rest of the season without any and I think Max is this year's Champion. Mercs not pulling that gap back. Ferrari has been known to cave into pressure in the recent seasons, RB can handle it. They made a good car this year. Max can drive it. Perez isn't that far off.
I have always been a Ferrari fan before any other team, and I am going to stay hopeful for the time being (despite history saying otherwise).

That being said, I'm also a fan of Red Bull and agree that I see Max taking this one. It's going to come down to the next few races to see if there is still a championship battle or not.

The F1 fan in me really wants another down to the wire championship battle. Leclerc and Max both deserve at least that.

Looks like a clear cut case of load transfer causing the rear to lose traction.

idk why, but Ferrari and their drivers…. They have been tripping over their own feet for the last 5 years when they have any chance at all for being in the running of a title.

Just pushed too hard on worn tires. Max was inside his pitstop delta and he needed to push to make sure he would stay ahead after his stop. Just asked too much from the car. Like Imola.

I get it though, once you have a family and you're in a bottom team spinning your wheels (no pun intended), there's more important things (at least for some people). I can see him getting involved in F1 later as race director, or a steward, etc.

Here you go
I was going to write a longer reply (in short, I don't agree & the video is dumb), but maybe I misunderstood the intent behind the word 'punt' - and really, what's the point, that season is done anyway.

In relation to that incident tho, does anyone else think that (seeing as Lewis was given a penalty for that incident), that knocking someone out of the race or back to last, should carry bigger penalties than we're seeing?

Clip someone & be found at-fault, put them P20, get a 5 second penalty - not even a stop & go. Seems a bit lacklustre & I can recall at least 2 or 3 incidents this season.

Yeah I tend to agree with respect to the penalty needing to be larger, though the result of the action can't really be taken into account as it opens up all the over regulation nonsense.

The penalty should be severe enough to discourage the act, otherwise what's the point of the penalty. 5-10 seconds is clearly not enough. They would have to fine tune the penalty to find the sweet spot of harshness.

Personally, I'd start with losing a lap's worth of racing time. Let the teams determine if they want to serve that time in the pits or tack it onto the final race time.

They should be given a stop&go penalty at minimum. 5 or even 10 seconds that Lewis got at Silverstone, is way too mild for ending someone else's race.
