It seems like a viable system but if I’m going to spend that type of cash I will just invest in a better intake manifold.

I’m not disagreeing with anyone. If you read my post it says specifically an EOS as well as an Interchiller. Also as a note, it is substantially cheaper than a manifold. Every little bit helps in this go fast addiction we all have.

An interchiller's IATs are cooperative with the upgraded intake manifold, and will push intake temps down to near-zero. The car will literally make frost on the coolant hoses, even if it's 100F outside. If your needs are met merely by an intake manifold, this solution is beyond your current power goals.

There is a point of diminishing returns with IATs. If the car isn't pulling timing, and you're high enough horsepower to where freezing IATs are making a difference (through added oxygen), why not just nitrous?

If nothing else, it's a very very niche product.

Nitrous is a whole other conversation, as well as a consumable product that I personally wish to avoid, like my meth injection that I will be removing.

Just my personal preference: because the interchiller isn't a tank of explosive go-go juice. I do not like nitrous or meth, and will always prefer more "steady state" solutions.

No, I understand that (though nitrous isn't explosive [yes, the bottle can burst from pressure if you don't have the proper venting]).

This is why it seems to me, as I mentioned, it's a very niche product. You want to push the engine reallllly fucking far, but not so far as a second power adder. Which actually-- now that I say that, does make sense for some classes, where you're limited to a single power adder.

I know many people here in Vegas that run Killer Chiller kits on their SC Mustangs. I know they work, I've seen it firsthand. The ones that have it can do pull after pull after pull without issue, while the ones without heat soak after a couple if that. I've reached out to Killer Chiller asking to make a kit for the Supra but looks like they just state their "Gen 5" universal kit is what they recommend.

These definitely work. I've only seen them used in drag applications though.
Curious how they would go with track work but I suspect not well seeing as the AC would be disengaged most of the time.

I am definitely interested in this. I will see what my mechanic has to say about this for my application.

Back when the local dragstrip was open, they said to not use your AC because they didnt want water dripping on the ground. So this kind of seems contradicting. Anyone else's drag strip say the same?

The interchiller page mentions that, if you put it in "race mode" it completely isolates the refrigerant from the A/C system so the condenser won't accumulate condensation. They claim that in that mode it's legal for tracks.
