I just can't get over how low that seems to sit. It looks like it sits lower than the photos on their website. I have an AWE exhaust, but it's the track version, which doesn't have mufflers of any kind, so it's a bad example. I just don't remember seeing other systems hanging down this low. Now, that doesn't make it bad, just something to be careful of, I suppose. I'd personally love to see a version of this exhaust with resonators replacing the mufflers. I like the concept, but would rather have the extra noise, flow, and ground clearance it would provide.
It looks low in photos, but clearance is honestly excellent. I'm lowered ~1.5" in both front and rear, and it doesn't have any issues with undulating pavement, speedbumps, or anything else. The camera angle is deceptive as the rear of the mufflers point somewhat downhill and make them look closer to the ground than they truly are from the rear of the car.

For my own install, I do need to tweak the clocking of the driver's side V-Bands on the two joints before the muffler to raise it up. That's my own doing, not the design. I was running low on time and just needed to get it finished for a car cruise the next day.

You know, your car being lowered is probably what's largely throwing me off. Glad you're not having any issues with clearance. Looking forward to hearing this setup in person! Thanks for the write-up!

I run a non resonated milltek full race exhaust with a catless downpipe, sounds insane and no drone at all.
Any vids/sound clips?

FWIW I have a custom single-exit Ti/SS system that uses an HKS Carbon-Ti muffler. It's mated to a catted AA downpipe. I love the sound overall. It is like a JZ or RB sound but distinct. There is a bit of boom/drone but I have taken road trips in comfort. It is rowdy at startup because of the elevated idle/cat warm-up programming. Once it quiets down, it is the right volume for me (never had a second look or any interest from LEOs). But it would not be hard to add a resonator to quiet it down further. I bought the muffler for about $450 and the install, including SS 3" piping, was $600.
I’m looking at recreating a setup like yours and had a couple questions was the piping you used universal or was that part specific for the mkv also do you have any photos of the actual exhaust underneath?

It's universal 3" stainless steel piping. I don't have any pictures of the underside, sorry. On YouTube there is a shop called (I think) Godzilla Raceworks that has some videos of their single exit systems and it's pretty similar to what I have. But it is not hard for any muffler shop to do. It took my shop maybe 2-2 1/2 hours.

Ah ok thank you and yeah I saw their video of the dual setup if that's the one you're referring to. I might just buy a kit and give it a shot myself.

Damn I had no idea my car could sound this much better after the AWE track exhaust and MAD catless downpipe.... Honestly couldn't be happier ?

My iPhone doesn’t do it justice but here goes….

Funny side note: the wife was telling me someone is walking their dog & just wait a minute ?. It's way louder that what my iPhone can capture. The bass notes are beautiful! Use a decent speaker for the computer for more depth. Can't believe I'm doing this for an exhaust  but I'm in love ?

People with the RK titanium exhaust. Is it not very loud? I keep hearing conflicting info. Also looks pretty close to the ground. Any scrapping issues? I don’t even have the car yet but thinking about ordering since some have been waiting 6 months.

Hope you get it soon! Just outta curiosity, what's your draw to that one?

You know I enjoy a ton of different setups that are available for these cars but I think I enjoy the single exits a tad better. (Could change my mind again). I want titanium, RK has good reviews, and I’ve heard Tomei has quality issues. Plus I think the exhaust angle is nice on the RK but I worry about scrapping.
