You know I enjoy a ton of different setups that are available for these cars but I think I enjoy the single exits a tad better. (Could change my mind again). I want titanium, RK has good reviews, and I’ve heard Tomei has quality issues. Plus I think the exhaust angle is nice on the RK but I worry about scrapping.
Mine is coming in next week. Will post after install.

I would go single exit, but they all sacrifice ground clearance from what I've seen. Seems a bit too impracticle for me. Saw a single exit supra at C&C and heard it scraping on a speed bump. Same thing with Boost Logic setups. Those things sound like they are getting destroyed.

I am sure there are ones that tuck under the car nicely. I'll have to do some research on what's available now.

There's also the concern of losing the ability to silence the car with active exhaust.

People with the RK titanium exhaust. Is it not very loud? I keep hearing conflicting info. Also looks pretty close to the ground. Any scrapping issues? I don’t even have the car yet but thinking about ordering since some have been waiting 6 months.
Was firm believer of the RK exhaust until I came across this clip:

Holy crap dude! I can't believe there are soooooo many options for the Supra... That banging and popping would drive me crazy. And I'm not a fan of the exhaust only on one side. Like it's missing a testicle & having bigger uni-testicle... But who gives a shit what I think! It's great being able to make our cars so unique. Love it man!!!!

From all the vids I've seen the Sp-1 r seems to sit too close to the diffuser. In one vid they trimmed the diffuser to get it to sit right.

Love how the sp1 is mounted but not enough to give up my single tomei. Build quality on the Tomei Single and price was great and with my AA dp sounds insane.

I'm jealous of you guys going single exit. They look proper and sound amazing. Sadly, I live in CA so I need a way to be quiet, when necessary.
I really wanted an RK, but the wait time is out of control.
I was going to try a Tomei, but I keep reading about how they like to crack at the welds. That's a lot of money to pay for a 50/50 shot at having it break LOL.
So.. I guess I gotta stick with a dual exhaust. Lame.
Unless I do like that other guy and buy a MKIV HKS axle back and fab it to my own exhaust system.

Also, does ANYONE make a dual-exit exhaust with a tip less than 4"?? I see all these ricer cannons sticking out the back. I see no reason to have the exit any larger than the inlet, ESPECIALLY when you can look into the top and see the smaller exhaust outlet ?

You could just buy a tip and install it yourself.

@kaj yea I originally was eyeing RK but when I contacted them, I was told 20+ week wait. Not a fan of tomei look with muffler kinda hanging in middle. And yes , tomei is known to snap welds especially at hangar. Happened to mine on evo x along with few other friends w Subarus, evos. Saw SP1R when they released 2nd batch so jumped on it asap plus has that mkiv heritage look.

Yeah I was thinking same thing cause it's coming with dual. But adding a lil mk4 flavor sound is beautiful though. I'm heating we can change the amount of burbles in the exhaust note there's a channel on YT he showed how to do it
