I had high hopes but I will pass. Not a fan of the looks or the prospect of likely constraints/markups. Plus the whole locked ECU thing has me looking elsewhere, like maybe a ZLE before those disappear forever.

I was looking at new ZL1 1LE's before I bought the Supra - its still a ~3900lb car that felt huge to me.

It can't hide the weight in corners, but i have driven them on the track and the GM magna suspension is nothing short of magic. And i am not GM fan per se

Just when you think BMW can't design something any worse they release the M performance parts for the new M2. They are seriously just copying Scion at this point.
A little Supra wing here....a little Lexus F exhaust here...some 3M plastic stick on panels..and BAM!

Yeaaaa, this looks bad. Looks like a universal kit that you modify to fit your car, derived from stick on accessories.

I don’t think the standard (non-neutral) colors are great. Wish they had Imola Red instead of Toronto Red (too orange-y IMO). Not really in the market at the moment, though.

I really want to know the differences between the S58 and ZF8 versions in the M2 vs. M3/4. If they are the same, I think that’s a lot value for the platform even including the cost to unlock the ECU (assuming it’s unlockable via current overseas methods).

The car looks even better in videos. Going to go to my BMW dealership today to see if I can put a deposit now. I think the blue is the one for me.

Best looking M car in decades to me.

The exterior gives me vibes from track and rally monsters from the late 80s and early 90s. This will be a future classic.
Somebody give this guy a pair of glasses! LOL
