Blow off valve

Please don’t roast me…just wondering if there are any negatives to installing a BOV. Could it cause any mechanical issues?

Pointless on the Supra, really. The B58 motor uses the throttle plate, valve lift, and the electronic wastegate to discharge excess pressure in the cold side. Your whole engine is a blowoff valve.

I saw a blow off valve sticking out of a charge pipe, looks goofy af. Just get an intake if u wanna hear turbo noises. Plus the supra already makes good enough turbo noises stock

do aftermarket blow off valves throw off fuel trims in this car? I know for the 10th gen civic platform it does and its common knowledge to avoid them wondering if its the same here as well?
