New to Supra platform coming from a Honda Civic Type R where everything was easy to bolt on and tune...

Have a locked ECU 2021

Thinking about putting in a catless downpipe (AMS) , charge pipes, MST V2 Intake and HKS exhaust and run a piggy back JB4 for the time being

anything I should be cautious about? I read some downpipes may give me a CEL ? some for sure won't...

Any input would be helpful.

Thanks in advance

That will be an option down the road, just not ready to drop $5k usd right off the top

I did read about it, just haven't figured out the actual costs incase that number is off from what i recall

MHD can do flex, methanol, and port injection?
Not with the basic Femto unlock. Op was only going to do basic bolt one it seems so this isn’t needed

if down the road purr 800s is that the 5000 I was looking at in order to tune… I just meant in the meantime those basic bolt ons was what’s planned I definitely would like to make more HP down the road so I might as well do it once if I’m going to ship.

Okay just checking, everyone likes to skirt around the question. Thanks! Seems like a waste for no flex fuel capability though.

I don’t believe there are any catless downpipes that won’t give you a CEL. Even most catted downpipes still throw a CEL. The AA catted and I think one other that uses a GESI cat won’t throw a CEL, just about everything else will.

No they don't, you just aren't paying attention.
You literally said you won't list the differences in another thread in an attempt to do just that. Embarrassing.

I thought Armytrix and Kenji catless DPs were not throwing CEL. They say it's not guaranteed but most people dont have CEL with them.

For kristz sake. Okay I will spoon feed you.

With Femto normal unlock:

MHD
BM3

Only factory calibration tables. No map switching. You can run ethanol, but not flex fuel. You can run port injection, but no CAN integration to make tuning easier.

With Femto clone service:

Ecutek
- Full non factory calibration tables supported. Map switching offered. Ecutek offers flex fuel with CAN integration. Reflex CAN integration port injection tuning and more.

MHD
- Full non factory calibration tables supported. I believe MHD doesn't offer flex fuel yet with the Supra but others need to keep me honest here. You can run port injection, but no CAN integration to make tuning easier.

BM3
- Full non factory calibration tables supported. Map switching offered. BM3 offers flex fuel with CAN integration. Antilag and more. You can run port injection, but no CAN integration to make tuning easier.

Just to clarify; the FEMTO clone service pricing? for those who have done it , what did it end up costing all around?

With Femto normal unlock:

Ecutek
You cannot install Ecutek with the "Normal" (or "bandaid" unlock, as @dethred likes to call it), because the license for Ecutek lives in the SWFA/Memory area two, which is not unlocked by Femto's partial/Cal Only unlock.

You cannot run flex on any of the calibration-only tables, but you can have a 93 and an E50 map or whatever- you just cannot swap these maps on the fly, they'll require a reflash.

Flex != Ethanol Tune.
