I hope @underdonk and I get this solved real quick! I drove mine all weekend at Homestead with everything turned off. She did great!!!! But I would like to have all those warning notices turned off. And ABS would definitely be nice. My biggest fear was any of the nannies turning on and upsetting the car at high speeds or during rotation. And they didnā€™t šŸ˜…
So with your chassis code, does your car let you downshift into 2nd and 1st in manual mode? With the chassis code I'm getting, mine does not. I don't think it's related to the other safety system codes being thrown... but who knows...

Mr Ding and some other VERY good drivers do NOT like spring drop. On fast tracks you need more travel to keep rubber on contact

I went w the max drop Eibach pro springs. If I had to do it again I would not. They are correct that you need more travel It doesnā€™t hurt me so much until I get to the big power tracks likeVIR. On my home little technical track and some others it is fine and I have both front and rear sways.

Mr Ding could take a bone stock Supra and run faster than me Once you get any car 80% modded out for the track talent makes up the difference from there

I believe front and rear sways should be balanced. Race teams I know do too.

another frustration w the platform that all of us have are all the Nannys and sensors.

I wish there was a way to rip them all out. My dash has almost every light on and it takes me 6 clicks to acknowledge every error. But it runs amazing. I only run w 450hp and the very basic springs. If I had more power, suspension and aero I believe I could drop time at every track.

You think the aero available for our car would make a big difference at 450hp Supra speeds around most tracks?

The high ride height is to maintain the optimal roll center so there is LESS suspension travel, not more.

Someone gets it. However, I think @Rocksandblues is trying to say that you end up riding on the bump stops easier if the suspension has less travel, and itā€™s way more apparent on big tracks. Lowering the car too much has less to do with sensors and ABS than proper handling. Not sure what you guys that are getting abs, steering and other errors are doing to your poor cars while installing. I had zero issues after installing coil overs, SPL arms, sway bar, etc. my front is a tad lower than .5ā€ and my rear is almost exact .5 lower.

Somebody also stated a seat making a huge difference and I 100% agree. Honestly, next to my MCS coil overs, the seat was the best upgrade.

I might have made my lengthy S post last night after four beers, so ignore it šŸ˜ŽšŸ¤”

Terrible installation tbh.

In retrospect I wouldn't use SPL parts and will end up pulling them off my car.

In my case, the chassis code came from putting the car into service mode to bleed the brakes, then when taking the car out, not having the electronics to calibrate the DSC. Didn't have anything to do with the SPL component install. Have an appointment at the dealership on Tuesday to have it done.

Diagnostic mode by tapping the start button three times quickly?

This is the right answer for pure performance (not necessarily looks), unless you want to chase codes. I've read that the current gen Camaros and Mustangs are the same with electronics and lowering. It's easy to introduce more issues than you gain benefits by slamming some cars.

Jackie Dings PHD Racing Labs website Level one handling package for suspension is just Front and rear sway bars. ta90-level-1-package

Level 2 adds SPL Parts ta90-level-2-package

Also they are helpful with any questions you have about the Supra and Track.

I seriously question their design and quality. Don't want to share more here but feel free to shoot me a DM.
Why make that statement but not want to share why you think they are bad?

Is this coming from watching that YouTube video where the guy swapped out his SPL parts for Verkline because they got them at a discount and then stated the same thing about SPL parts even though it was VERY clear the SPL lcaā€™s where installed incorrectly?
