Who would get an F-type over the A90?

Aesthically speaking the F-Type has a timeless design, but I wouldn’t put it in the same category when it comes to driving dynamics.

Hmm... the experts disagree with you on that one.

As cool as a v8 is, it's everywhere. Not my cup of tea. I'll always go i5, f6, i6, v10 and v12. Styling on the jag is very beautiful, although the sideskirt an back diffuser makes the car look tall, unfitting, less timeless, less classy and out of proportion imo. Supra might be out of Jag's league in terms of design, and I would argue that you'd be lowering and sort of mocking the Jag by comparing it to a Supra, but what the supra does that the jag isn't able to do is executing the design. Supra looks like it's meant to look the way you see it as is. Jag looks like some drifter decided to put some body kit for it. Just my humble opinion. I mean no one any offense.

This one though, beats Supra's entirely in any aspect. Bite me.

I agree, the side skirts take away from the looks. Still love it though.

Hmm What AM I driving?
I'm quite a big fan of the V6 S and the Current 400 Special edition. The fact that you can buy it in convertible form always was a plus for me. I had driven the SVR convertible about a year back and that thing was crazy in terms of the way it sounds. However, In my honest opinion, it just didn't feel sharp. Can't speak for the A90 or the Z4 but I'm hoping that it provides a better driving dynamics.

To be honest, I can't say because I've never owned none Japanese cars. I've driven alot of none Japanese cars longest probably was about 3 weeks?

But when it comes to owning; the only one was a VW Jetta Wolfsburg when I was like 19 and it was a terrible experience it was also at the dealer for the electrical issues.

I guess if it came to European....the best I've driven and liked is an Italian Car. Ferrari 458 and Alfa Giulia QV.

how about you?

I don’t care to be honest. Back in the day it was easier to see and feel the differences between makers but nowadays it’s insignificant, at least to me. The F-type is a great car and the more I see of the new Supra the less I like it. It looks great, i’m Sure it will be fun but too many compromises to be had with it.

Recently test drove a 2015 V6 S that’s at a local dealer. Phenomenal sports car, and the supercharged 6 sounds great especially with the sports exhaust! The handling was fantastic as well. No dead spot on center either. The car is hard loaded with an original MSRP of over $100k with all of the option boxes ticked. The car has very very low mileage (less than 5000) and the dealership is asking less than half of original MSRP. Very tempting....

The F type is a gorgeous car and If you're giving me the extra $ to pay for a 6 cyl (and if you're chipping in for upkeep as well) the yes I'd take an F type over a Supra. In British racing green. Otherwise no.

Now that Jaguar is killing off the manual transmission on the F-Type, in the US, I wonder if this decision made by Jaguar will affect Toyota’s chances of bringing in a manual transmission to the Supra. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Having driven V6S I think its a really good sports car and bit underrated. Tbh I liked it more than BMW M2. Very nice steering, pretty neutral in handling and the noise...one of the best stock exhaust noises I ever heared. Its THAT good. Yes its not as sharp as Cayman but it doesnt feel as big as 911 either. Its a balance between those two. And its simply beautiful. Blue with yellow calipers... Da dream.
Manual V6s would be a great buy for me. But I think Supra will be superior in every way: dynamics, handling, balance, driving position. More "focused" sports car. My only fear for the Supra is steering. I hope its not carried over from M2 as that one is half-dead...
