I second what baagel said. I have a locked ECU and I run with cat, intake, and that Jesse tune. Huge difference from stock.

Amazing what a difference! And Jesse’s no pressure attitude is hugely helpful! I bought a heat exchanger from him and he’s willing to do the logs later with me. After installed and hotter in April….

Another buddy who knows even less about cars than me (because he was asking my advice ) bought a JB4 with Jesse tune and is happier than a pig in shit . So can definitely vouch on the added fun factor!

Definitely, but for some they are not willing to ship their ecu to Finland, so an ecu tune is not an option, for some they would rather be able to revert things back to stock and keep a warranty, there are many benefits to doing an ecu tune, but it's not feasible for all.

is the turbo capable of making over 500 whp on 93 with JB4?

I would prefer to have the option to revert to stock and keep my warranty with the MT, but would like to make around 500 with the platform. No E-85 access anywhere in my region.

I can ask but I doubt he offers it. It's something you can always send turbo to be done. Just have to find a shop that does it.
