Have your tuner give you a MHD mapping that ONLY has the crankcase heater coded out. It will pass inspection. That is what I do with mine.I'm femto unlocked with MHD and I swap back to 93 oct, swap to oem downpipe, and flash to mhd ots stage 0 and select "oem downpipe" on checkbox. This will run the all the monitors and pass emissions, at least pass in the state of Missouri, by my personal experience. Or, if you have jb4 you can swap to oem inlet and not set codes.
If it’s still the OEM compressor housing and not a recast, the holes are in the same place.I might have to double check but I thought the bolt holes didn’t line up with the stock inlet so that can’t really be swapped back for inspection purposes.

I don't disagree with what your saying, and you still could be correct, but I asked DAW this several times and they were persistent on saying it would fit. I do question they are correct.Technically it would bolt on just fine, it just wouldn't seal and it would very much choke the flow. I would also worry about sucking in the o-ring with any boost since it is no longer sealing against the bore.

The crankcase heater is molded into the OEM inlet. You could MAYBE cut it out and figure out how to add it to an aftermarket inlet, but why? If you are upgrading your turbo, you should unlock your DME to actually take advantage of it and tune it properly anyway.

You would need a way to seal it. On OEM compressor housing the green o-ring seals against the bore. Bored out hybrid turbos have a larger bore. If you also look, there is a slight step on the bolt flange.
