The GR Supra did get a ton of love though. Did you not see what they did for the GR Supra in previous years?
To the limited amount of body kits available and most parts not even developed by japan I would say sema had more love than Tokyo auto salon. Hks basically had a full line up of parts for the 86 already. But took few years for things to come out for the Supra. Greddy has next to no support for the new supra. Veilside has a new kit for the Z and didn't have one for the Supra till 2 years after release.

3 years ago it was painfully difficult to find variety of parts for the Supra.

Fair enough, but there was still a lot of hype when the GR Supra was out. It's now the Z's turn.

Also the Z just got out of its stop-sale period so we need to give it a bit of a break, people are now starting to get them haha.

Yesterday I popped into a local Nissan showroom and saw a Proto model Z. It's a really beautiful car in person! 2D pictures really don't do it justice (same with the Supra MKV).

I still prefer the Supra but hats off to Nissan for perfecting the 370Z chassis into this new iteration. NOW it feels like I'm looking at a proper successor to the Z32TT.

Just prior to that while picking up some parts at my local Toyota dealer a red GR Corolla was parked out front which had just been PDI'd and spoken for. The new owner looked quite happy!

Cool to see two of the popular brand new enthusiast models in one afternoon.

I kind of hate those angled side pieces in the rear bumper, reminds me of an early 2000's body kit. The rear was such a clean and sleek design before, I think the move would just be to make the diffuser carbon fiber and add some cutouts behind the rear wheels
