I think when it gets into other peoples hands it'll perform FP makes great products.

I was running a FP Green on my '05 STi for years. I know they make good products, and I was very excited at the prospect of running another FP turbo on my Supra.

Sadly this doesn't look like one of their best offerings as it looks like it's just too small to be of much value on the B58.

I have no idea why you're so vehemently defending this product. I have no dog in the fight other than trying to be an informed consumer.

that's my thought process-- this turbo is for those who don't want to go meth or E, yet still want more power, but nothing crazy

I just really wonder just how much more power this will make than the stock turbo. $1300 + tune (and possibly install) is not an insignificant amount of money.

IMO this will be good for this exact customer base. Now who is going to try to get some solid data on them lol. Im more than willing to reach out to FP for you guys if we did a couple even 2-3 im sure we can get a great price on them.

What would you think with the Daw turbo and port +e50? I was about to order one from you, but currently debating clone, but have an unlocked bm3 right now.

This and DAW cant really be compared. DAW is actually a much larger turbo. Why do you feel you need to go the clone route?

My opinion is based on spec of turbo along with reputation of company. Since you and I are both in this thread its obviously apparent there is no concrete data yet. Just because I have an opinion that itll make 550-600 whp based on the sizing that doesn't mean in defending it. But like you said NOW im trying to weasel my way out of the discussion

If you are working with Jeff or someone you can get to spend a couple hours dialing it in with. sure i can bring one in and work with you on it.

Ecutek is great for high hp cars but all the canbus integrations are fairly new. When I first started moding the supra i was on a E50 tune (no flex fuel tuning out yet) and same with PI I was running a split second since reflex wasnt out yet. While its all nice its not needed especially for your goal of 600-650

EDIT: I guess I need to clarify here. Being a vendor means you're in the business. Mr. DaBears saying something that could be viewed as negative by Forced Performance on a public forum is not a smart move in the long run. That's all I meant by this.

Here in case you didnt realize what i have already accomplished with the platform

Top 20 fastest supra have been on the lead board for almost a year now. I have done everything from Pure turbos, garret, xona, PI, Reflex, Built motors, have worked with and discussed with every top shop. Id like to think my opinion holds some merit but like you said I'm a vendor who doesn't sell the turbo we are talking about.
