How???? Why???? I guess even toenail clippings are worth something to someone…. It’s not a bad car for around $35-40k but damn… I’d take a GR86 before that.
Given how long it was listed, I don't think it went for $130k, but my guess was in the ballpark of $100k since it's a Proto spec. Still, way too much money. Even the premium spec Zs based on track performance feel like they shouldn't be more than high $40k.

What? Did they outsource the Z to a startup company or something? paint?? ??‍♂?‍♀
I've read a post on the Nissan Z forum, that person bought actual genuine spare parts for his Infiniti Q60 and all those parts say Made in China on the packaging when a few years ago the exact same parts were made in Japan.

Cutting cost while raising the retail price, profit margins be looking real THICCC.

Completely agree however, I wouldn't be surprised if nowadays they are just trying to maintain a profit margin they used to always have. Regardless, we all get crappier products to sell/buy.

Well if it's supposed to be a "performance" spec. That makes sense. Doubt the supras rumored grmn version will get a MT.
Problem is the Z’s automatic isn’t like the ZF8. Have you seen the videos of it on the track? Thing shifts like an Altima

If a GRMN materializes, it will likely just be a lightly tuned B58; reduced weight and maybe some aero. And stickers!

The GRMN Yaris should be your guide, not hopes and dreams.
