@FLtrackdays Good morning to Florida haha, that's nice to hear. Let's swap the countries!! - The track-scene is quite big here (germany, spain, UK), but the cop-scene too. One moment at the street without an approved part and the ride is over in germany:patriot: If you're here next time you need to visit the Nürburgring if you haven't already been there.
Nürburgring is on my todo list for sure! We’re pretty lucky to have a smaller government control/intervention here in Florida. It’s not the Wild Wild West everyone portrays it at all, just old fashion freedom. So hope you get to come visit sometime and track here as well!

I'm visiting the LA area for the first time this year and I was envious when I saw a couple of A90's on the freeway Saturday night around Pasadena. I love seeing track cars out and about. Makes me want to live somewhere I can drive outside of the June/July/August months :/ Hopefully one day I'll be able to drive some classic European circuits too....

Also, speaking of rear wings, I know it's probably a lot more expensive but have you considered a full rear diffuser or some ground effects instead? Since you are still power limited I was wonder how fast you could make the car with the stock trunk and build up everything else around it. Probably a lot more expensive but idk if 300lbs of downforce on the back of the car will help you out compared to a few other mods first with tires like the A052's. I could be completely wrong but I'm curious if you explored those other areas.

I was referring to the weight rating on the strut shock. I think each has to be stronger to lift the whole trunk and wing. So will have to get them stronger than what ever they are stock. So is lifting the total weight of the trunk and wing
Ah okay, sorry, i misunderstood. I maybe use the trunk for the helmet, so that's my trade-off i have to make, haha.

@PaulFRDE Hallo Paul, great to meet you! - Ahh, don't say that. With stock adaptive suspension besides Eibach springs and stock horsepower a friend of me did SUB 8 BTG with me and my 2.0L. On longer straights the B58 should compensate a lot, even if it's possibly slower in the curve because of the weight at the front axle.

@FLtrackdays "Old fashion freedom" sounds good! Yes, that would be great. Maybe Sebring? That track seems to be pretty technical.

@JOutterbridge Great input, thanks. :) I did! - In germany we sometimes say: "Probieren geht über studieren" --> That means some trial and error until you have a good setup. I've had the idea of a diffuser and underbody in my head for a long time too. 🤝

Test-mounted the spoiler. The raw aluminium look from the bracket meets the look of the OEM rims. Good that it's going to be powdercoated in black to meet the track-wheel optics.😃 It's so cold here that semislicks would break, so I'm on the OEM rims, equipped with Michelin Pilot Supersports.

I heard that every "normal" road picture needs to be compensated with a picture from the racetrack, haha:

Again equipped with the OEM tires because of the really wet weather. Had a great session at Circuit Park Zandvoort (NL [EU]) last December. Some buddies in the M2 (nearly stock) and a full built i30N chasing me.

Have a nice week!

Hello guys, did a little work on the car: The spoiler-project is completed!

Best point is: Official road legal here in germany :drive:

As @Todday1 said, the trunk lid needed some attention. So i made a metal bracket, reinforcing the billet mounts on the other side and the whole lid. Now it's stiff (as it should). Then i reinstalled the plastic covers and did a little ride.
Feels great. Does not wobble. Everything else is tested on the racetrack in three weeks. But i have a good feeling. You can feel that it adds a bit of drag already. Without the spoiler it accelerates noticeable faster after 200 km/h. (i know... it's also because i only have 300hp 😜 )

Thanks for the reactions! I'm really happy with the wing right now.

@PaulFRDE
Yes, it took a little (big) effort, but it finally worked. Contact me anytime if you're interested in details. 👍

And of course the ProTracks will come back. They will have a debut in a new colour.

I'm honestly impressed this is road legal in Germany. My own experience with the german TUV almost gave me PTSD o_O

We want the protrack wheels back though
TUV keeps garbage off the street more than most inspections. I dont need people who drive poorly maintained machines ruining mine. No system anywhere is perfect but TUV is good.

Soo, the track season just started here in germany. :drive:

Together with some friends we spend a whole trackday at Zandvoort Circuit (Netherlands) again, to start into the season. The wing proved his rectifaction of existence here!

Followed by an amazing trackday at Spa francorchamps (France) -this is the point im begging for more power…-.

Last week we had a blast at Bilster Berg (Germany).
I think i need a splitter now. The car’s very light at the front axle: Driving uphill in a long turn, i will be carried out by the g’s, loosing some time because i need to lift the throttle. If the wing is uninstalled, the problem isn’t occuring, so it’s definetly the wing, maximizing the load oft he rear axle. But i will not call it problem from now on. It’s the opportunity to develop a splitter, haha!
Please notice: I'm with the B48, so the B58 guys shouldn't suffer from that because of the heavier engine. And it's the topology of the racetrack... With 26% climbing it's a massive uphill part.

As i mentioned some posts before, i finally installed the developed cold air intake.
Results are pretty good, giving some headroom for hard track-use or squeezing out the last hp’s of a daily driver. Constantly around 5 to 10 °C with an ambient of 20°C.

Some trackday photo-material again after visiting three trackdays in the last two months. Good friend of me tried to attack with his 997 GT3 RS. But... Okay, i admit there's no way i could win this duel. Not with 150hp less.:drive:

I'm in love with that car. The fitment of the wheels, the edges and contours of the car. It looks so big and feels so light. Absolutely stunning.

Those pics are awesome! Saved some to my wallpaper folder.
Thanks, can send you some more of different cars if you want too. 😃 ✌ We're driving every time with the same organizer of the trackday and he's booking a professional car photographer who's working for Ford, Bentley, Volvo and even some car magazines. That's a great benefit for all.
