The only dismissing I do of folks who have commented on building is the single biggest constraint I give, and everyone’s dismissal of it…Eblends and meth. Not a single “builder” here has offered a high HP solution on 93oct because they know it’s expensive and very difficult, it takes over-building and ultimately chemistry and physics limit how far 3 liters can go on 93oct. Have you or anyone here provided a maximum effort 93oct build? What you call “whining” is my hope dying and realization that I need a much larger displacement car to meet my goals.

I’m only asking for one attribute of a supercar, the acceleration. What goes into supercars is so much more than speed, materials are a huge portion of what makes them super. They sacrifice everything in pursuit of ultimate performance. They turn better, stop better, but there’s no need for those attributes on the street.So…you want a summer road trip GT car with full A/C, quiet and comfortable for the family, with 1000 hp on 93 oct, for under $100k?

Todays modern big displacement cars with some mods meet my acceleration requirements while meeting my GT requirements. I’m not asking for a Koenigsegg Regera.

So if by “half way there” you mean you’d need to double your budget to hit your requirements, then I agree.
On the other hand, if a stock 2023 demon on pump gas makes enough power for you, then you don’t need 900 whp in a Supra, you only need about 575 whp to match that power/weight. That’s doable with a mild turbo upgrade.
Remind me again why you don’t want to go flex fuel so you can run whatever gas you have available? E85 when you’re near your station at home and dropping to 93 if required on road trips? You’re surely not going to need 100% of the power when on family road trips, right?

How was I attacking? I’m just trying to bring him back down to reality. A power to weight ratio of 0.27 whp/lb is not going to happen for <$100k, certainly not in a quiet, daily driveable, family and road-trip friendly GT car. I don’t know where you live or the fuel situation there, all I can say is that I’ve been running flex fuel for 2 years and I’ve only had to fill up with regular pump gas once, because I was just about out of gas when I got to the station and they happened to be out of E85 that day. Then again I live in Colorado where E85 is everywhere.the idea of not meeting my goals 90% of the time makes we question having them in the first place.
Best of luck. The simplest path I can think of is probably a used hellcat/demon with a decent amount of miles on it, and a bunch of work. I wouldn’t exactly put any Dodge in the “reliable” category even without doubling the power, and it probably won’t happen for <$100k, but it’ll probably be the closest.My goals may be uncommon but are very clear to me, especially now.
I will find a way to make a 60-130 monster that is comfortable and reliable, it won’t be a Supra and likely won’t be cheap.
