Lexington, KY area. It's hot and maybe a bit more humid than normal, but has been sunny. Pretty typical for Kentucky in the summer.Begs the question where you located. It's a double boiler down here in north texas.

This is the truth, I picked my car up in Dallas on 7/10 and drove up through N. Texas into Colorado. It was 100 degrees when I landed at 11:40 am and it remained 100 degrees until about 7 pm, at which point it was 98 degrees.Begs the question where you located. Holy hell! $1,000 for a battery! (Going to be Investing in a tender right now??)Haven't driven the car in a month. It's a beautiful day. Go to the garage to start it up and... dead battery. I was getting battery discharged codes. I had left the doors open over several long-term projects. I knew it was coming and did it to myself. So today I spent $1000 on an Antigravity H7 60AH battery. Paid for the 2 day shipping so hopefully will have it soon and can take advantage of this beautiful weather!
Congrats on your new car! Hit me up with a PM if you’re interested in getting some Colorado Supras together for some cruising and car shows every now and thenThis is the truth, I picked my car up in Dallas on 7/10 and drove up through N. How long does the battery last? If it at least last 4-5 years I'm buying that as my next battery because I'm a lightweight fiend lol.I hope so for a $1k battery. Seems like the consensus choice. I've never run their kit before.
4-5 is about right. although people have had to replace well inside that. mostly if the keys are too close to the stored vehichle and they stay awake and comm too much. How long does the battery last? What are you going to do for reverse lights now?Tow hitch installed and seems really secure. Should be great for bringing tires and tools to the track. Took a little trial and error on fitment but went about as well as I hoped. I went with a CURT 19101 hitch and drilled holes in the rear impact bar to mount it. Used some threadlocker on the pass through carriage bolts to make sure the nuts stayed on.
For the 4 screws that screw the diffuser on, the outside ones needed new holes drilled so I could pull it in to the normal mounting spots as the original ones wouldn't line up due to the hitch pushing the diffuser our ever so slightly. The middle two I just screwed the heatshield back to the spot. It is very secure even without being attached there. The slight pressure from the hitch does a good job keeping it in place. The clips where the brake light previously attached also needed to be cut off on the backside for clearance.

A drop in the bucket. I'm not in it for as much as @zrk by any stretch, but it's plenty. Honestly, what's killed me has been paying a shop to do most of the heavy lifting. For example, I could replace the motor mounts and rip out the interior, but the car would be pulled apart for 8mo for me to do it with my work and the kids' schedules. Paying loads in labor has been the easy (but expensive) button.Holy hell! $1,000 for a battery! (Going to be Investing in a tender right now??)
No idea, but a good question. I'm hoping for one month per pound of weight savings. ?How long does the battery last? If it at least last 4-5 years I'm buying that as my next battery because I'm a lightweight fiend lol.
