Ah you’re right. I got those two mixed upMaybe. But in Germany the Z4 first edition was orange, not grey. And he said “dark grey”. Sounds like a different color than the Z4 is available with.

Photos are forbidden at these kinds of eventsHas anyone here had the chance to take photo/s of the Supra without camo?
Sounds like it will be Gunmetal GreyAh you’re right. I got those two mixed up
Of course it is. But often enough some guys don’t care about that, take some pics and load them up. The hope dies last.Photos are forbidden at these kinds of events
Maybe. But the FT 1 was glossy, not matte.Maybe the same gunmetal grey as the ft1 concept ?
Here's hoping to something as mean as this color!Maybe. But in Germany the Z4 first edition was orange, not grey. And he said “dark grey”. Sounds like a different color than the Z4 is available with.
And while I like that matte grey I wouldn’t choose it because of its very high price and need to care for.
If the first edition is orange, then what do you call the Z4 in grey...launch edition? What are the differences?Maybe. But in Germany the Z4 first edition was orange, not grey. And he said “dark grey”. Sounds like a different color than the Z4 is available with.

In Germany and other countries the Z4 is available as a “First Edition”. That’s a special you can only order on the Z4 M40i and if you choose that, nearby every single option is included. So the “frozen orange” is, but it’s the only color for the “first edition”. If you don’t want that, you can’t buy the “first edition”. Of course you can build your own Z4 however you want and even “all in” with frozen grey. But this would never be a “first edition”.If the first edition is orange, then what do you call the Z4 in grey...launch edition? What are the differences?
Were phones and cams taken from people before they were allowed to see the car?He told me that there was a strict embargo on cameras and smartphones when they were presenting the A90.
He said it looks a little different to the renders we already know, but it’s damn looking good and high quality.
That’s exactly what they did. Phones and Cames were collected and they used scanners to find hidden electronics. That is what he told me.Were phones and cams taken from people before they were allowed to see the car?
Did he elaborate? I'm just curious, because a lot of the newest renders were made from the prototypes. So I'm just wonder how they could be off. Unless the pre-production cars didn't have final little items such as switchgear/shifter, wheels and mirrors?
The launch edition Supra is also fully loaded with all options, FYI. Not sure on color, but I think it will likely only be available in one color as well...In Germany and other countries the Z4 is available as a “First Edition”. Will be the same in Europe. If it really is the frozen (dark) grey one with red leather seats, it will look awesome indeed! But if every option is included, I also have to pay for things I don’t need (electrical seats for instance). The launch edition Supra is also fully loaded with all options, FYI. (at least in the U.S.)
