AA dp is the one I would like to go with hopefully soon since it has SO many good reviews!
It sounds excellent. Give it a couple days to settle it and it's almost as if the sound gets better. I have an ARK DT-S Exhaust system with the AA catted downpipe and I can't see myself going catless unless I had to due to a top mount turbo. The turbo spooling sound is addictive. More smiles per gallon.

Is there a DP which improves throttle response while being quiet? I already have an AWE exhaust I don't want more noise but I do want the car to be less numb / laggy.
Throttle response comes from ECU, information coming from the computer to the throttle body and of course the downpipe/exhaust being more free to breathe such as catted performance downpipe or catless and a performance exhaust system. It's all connected. Not easy answer.

I’ve had a few day with the CG DS-1 with the stock exhaust and absolutely love the sound. It’s perfect for me, not obnoxiously loud.
The performance with the DP and MHD Stage 2 93 is amazing. Smooth and pulls hard. I’m sure it’s every bit of what MHD advertises for power and no CEL.

I went with SHS Autosport and got the exhaust too. I figured why not go full 4" instead of buying a downpipe and exhaust that shrink down in the middle.
You have any sound clips of this setup?

I have AA and its great.

But to be truthful, there have been bad batches of AA that did throw CEL. The warranty is on the Cat and not the work. So pulling it on and off is on your dime. Some member was snake bit and had it happen a couple of times. And there was question as to the Bimmer Code crowd who turn on Sport+ and how that interacts with AA cat. But Sport+ not recommended the A90 so I'd code it off if you've coded it on.

None of this is unreasonable for a product like this.
fwiw I have had the AA catted dp and sport plus coded into my MT for about 8 months 5k miles and no issues as far as I can tell!

Does sport plus make any difference at all? Haven't really seen anything that indicates there's more performance with it, but I'd be interested if its a throttle response thing.
