The line going across the bottom clamp is for my meth injection. You can’t see it from any of the photos. In case anyone was wondering. It’s to keep it out of the way from ever touching the fan or shroud.

Pure your request. Hard to see it but it’s the bottom section of the FTP. Notice it’s not shiny. It’s flat black. The coupling is one from Visconti since I am running port injection.

Thanks for the photos. I'm going to install mine next week and try to keep the bottom half of my ftp installed.

Of course man. Anytime. Glad I could help someone out. It’s much easier to do. I did reach out to BM and they are going to provide the right bolts for me. Customer service as always, is top notch.

include the right bolts... turn the sensor bracket around like the FTP.
concur with the two above points. maybe A reversible port with 2 screw holes.

Even with the slack provided by the jb4 wiring, the location of the sensor clip kind of a pain. i recommend clipping the connector to the sensor first, and then doing the screw after the pipe is on the car.

side question, are the 90 degree boost line fittings one-and-done? if so, can you link us to the replacement?

other recommendations: give more detailed description on what exactly the connector reversal stdp looks like. i didn't need it, but it wasn't clear to me. also, a picture of the bov port orientation angle would be useful so you can get it lined up on the first try.

One interesting thing to note is that because the BMS BOV is mechanically actuated (unlike the HKS BOV which detects changes in pedal position) you will get very short/sharp blow offs during gear changes with the 8AT - even at part or low throttle.

I noticed this as well, as soon as I was switching gears. I love the sound of this BOV. Much better and louder than the HKS, IMO.

Thanks for sharing this video clip.

We will change the sensor orientation on the next batch, it's confirmed.
Can you elaborate more on what you mean one and done on the push lock fittings? You mean set and forget? Yes, they realistically will never pop off. I used them on my 340xi that was making over 800whp (40psi). Email us and we can send you replacements if you broke one.

Yessir! Little blow off during shifts like traditional setups. Check your logs and you'll see boost will stay nice and steady throughout the pull. ECU/Throttle can control the boost much better now that it has an aid.

Here's a video from our car:

Any way I can get a replacement upper pipe when it comes out? I can mail back the current one if needed. I understand that it's already on the car, but it's a headache that I don't want to deal with each time I have to pull the pipe.

by one and done, I meant if the pushlock fitting needs to be thrown away after a single use (if the teeth are damaged by pulling out the line), or if it can be reused? wanted to run the line a different way (again, showing a picture of the suggested bov port angle would prevent this).

edit: watched a youtube video, looks like i can remove the pushlock just like a sharkbite fitting.

Not really since nothing is defective on the pipes, that's how we did it to ensure proper engine cover fitment.

Push lock fittings can be reused. Push the tab in, then pull the hose out.

This is good news that the sensor will be turned around for future batches. I am very pleased with my kit and the sound it makes. What I bought it for. I am old school and missed the sound.

Glad you like it as much as I do. It’s order than the HKS style for sure. Plus you can run the strut bar!!

For those of us that are not in a huge rush, when do you suppose we should order if we're willing to wait for the revised pipe with the different sensor bracket ?
