I still don’t get your point ? To push numbers I want to push you either to PI or DI I chose DI and posting the progress and data I already have the parts now it’s just logging . However I wrote it is personal preference title is not misleading as you need PI or DI upgrades to reach numbers that I posted in title you are just commenting on the way I posted it and I respect that you might not like it however the only thing that matters are results and the fact that you said I don’t have the parts is plainly not true . I still dont get what the fear is of using PI without Ecutek / Canbus Reflex integration. Plenty of platforms still use AIC controllers. I used an AIC for the first 12 months of using an upgraded turbo prior to reflex even being released.

Its not needed if you have a competent tuner and are not pushing everything to the limits. Yes for cars that are balls the wall its definitely needed, but that's no offense like no one here lol.

I wonder if its more from tuners that sell the products that beat it into peoples heads its required...
There are a lot of wires and hoses connected to that IM+plate. Swapping a pump and some injectors is way less complicated than having to deal with a PI plate, reflex etc. These cars aren’t a K24 where you can have the IM off in 10 minutes.

Just to be clear I’m not saying one way or another is better/cheaper. Personally I don’t really care but I do see the upfront appeal on just slapping in a pump and injectors and being done. Remember most people are not doing these installs every day and it takes them way longer. They may not want to wrench on their car for a dozen hours just to be able to make another 100hp.

This is exactly why I went this route I don’t know how well everything will
Work once BM3 and MHD have motiv integration however changing HPFP and injectors is more appealing to me

If someone would struggle removing the IM I dont recommend either of these installs for them. Removing the injectors and replacing seals are not EASY. You need a special tool just to do the seals.

If someone would struggle removing the IM I dont recommend either of these installs for them. Removing the injectors and replacing seals are not EASY. You need a special tool just to do the seals.
Disagree the removal tool is like 130 bucks and places rent them for a fraction of that. Newer cars the DI aren’t seized into the motor so the job is overall much easier. I believe the new injectors come with the seal so you don’t need the seal tool.
