I must have missed that, but yes that seems more in line.

Plus M literally doesn't ever give up parts unless it's for legit BMW's or something super special.

So in this case, makes sense.

More i think about this
Starting to wonder if maybe it might get the new B58? The one with the port injection from factory (but i guess the untuneable ecu to match) think its mostly in the larger bmws atm

saving this for the future so i can either ask for future lotto numbers or neg you if youre wrong.

how much is this a100 supposed to cost?
My sources from Toyota Marketing Department (mail room clerk)overheard the price point to start at about $85k. They also overheard a $60k price point for a lower trim version which could allude to a 4 cylinder Turbo / Hybrid

I imagine this is going to be for the 2025 model year? Also, would regular B58 Supras be sold alongside.
More likely a 2026-2027 model year. Marketing could do the same ploy that they did with the A80 and used left over inventory to milk it to a "2025" model year though they are 2024 inventory.

@AutoDelight heard someone say "Cite your sources" and thought they said "just make up shit and smart sounding sources because people are dumb".

"engineering intern" as a source. Lmaoooooo.
I didn't want to mention my sources from Universal Pictures but their role is "production water boy" and my source for "Final D" is the "pen/paper quality tester".

The S58 would also add a bit of weight up front screwing up the 52/48 balance. I believe it will have a slight bump in power but stay B58 but then everything else will be sharper just like the Nismo Z. If you were wanting more than that the price would be north of 80k I bet. I think this will 70 -72k fully loaded.

https://www.pistonheads.com/news/ph...upra-grmn-takes-to-the-nurburgring-160-/47755

Covered by Pistonheads also.

My view point is,
1. I'm glad I didnt wait for it when it was "imminent" in March 2022 and instead got mine
2. Its tempting. Especially if with a s58 in UK. As we have limitations with what we can legally do to the car, for example opf+cat related stuff.
Having more power but keeping those would be quite good.
3. I like the wheels. I like the sound of a lot of these other changes too, I think if it came with updated Idrive (with android auto) as well as the s58 and those brakes..... i might well see if i can trade up.
4. Im not sure i like that wing........

On the flip side my other option is a back box mod and stage 1. Which i suspect would be enough for me.

Honestly a drive in it again the other day confirmed to me that (especially now i have SportContact 7s) this car is way faster than the hp numbers show as it is. So i suspect a nice 80hp bump from a tune might be enough. But id always struggle knowing the grmn exists lol....
But then you also have to think. Given i already have 90% of it on my drive is it really worth bankrupting myself over :p
It's not worth it if you are happy unless you want to keep up with the Jones'. I remember this conversation back when the MKIV was out and I was in high school. Single turbo or is it worth it to go twin turbo, limited edition, etc. In the end single turbos were just fine and fun enough for us on the streets and most 98% of people. If my 2023 CU Later Gray took 5 months of constant phone calls and follow ups with dealerships across the country to find it close to msrp, I would imagine this GRMN would be harder to get a hold of.

The power to weight ratio is something people forget about. Beefed up B58 is also my guess.

Cool limited numbers, extra $10-15k for oem lip kit, tiny gt wing, and new brakes, and maybe suspension.
Yup, they're going to call it the GR performance package.

I wonder if Toyota would release a "GR" tune for the B58 just like TRD used to offer back in the day for the trd superchargers.

Highly doubt it. Would have got something by now.

Engine will be a slightly tuned B58 from the factory. 425 hp/ 430tq. No way in hell they’re dropping an S engine into this version. So brakes, aero and more horsepower for an extra $30K.

The interior will also have three different unique interior colors which include the vibrant blue, merlot red and starburst yellow as well as three unique exterior which are promptly named "Peace Out Blue", on light.

Ok... I've said too much from my many sources.
You had me at "Peace Out Blue" ✌🥶
